I am on that "Do Not Call List" and I'm getting calls like this still!!?? If I don't know the # that is calling I don't answer it and if they don't leave message it's not important.

Chances are that you do NOT however owe it to these bottom feeders. Of course they do not have to prove it in court (They never have the paperwork to show the assignment etc) because they are time barred from suing to collect. Send them a cease and desist contact letter. Make sure you get the CMMR card back wait for the next call then contact a Consumer Attorney who will sue them in Federal Court for FDCPA breaches. IF they are dumb enough to issue suit again contact a consumer attorney and when he enters your affirmative defense of time barred he can counter sue. FDCPA statutory damages are $1000 plus they have to pay YOUR attorneys fees as well as their own.

You should know that just because a statute of limitations has run doesn't mean you don't still owe the debt.

616-675-2115 just called for a person who does not live at this number. We stayed on the line and told the company that the person does not live here. They called us back two minutes later. We called them and told them that they had the wrong number and not to call us and they hung up on us....

I received a call from 877-251-3771. It was a recorded message asking for me, but using my maiden name. I have been married for close to 10 years, so I know it's past the statute of limitations for my state. Anyway, in the message I was given this number (616-675-2115) to call back. Yeah, that's not happening. But I looked up the 877 number and it seems like it is AT&T from what people were saying.

The are zombie bottom feeders, and amongst the worst scam collectors. They are a Robocall that doesn't even work properly because if you press the #2 as it asks you to do if you are NOT the person they are calling, they will answer the call and still ask for the person they are calling for, then rudely just hang up on you if you say they are not available or that they have a wrong number, etc. and they refuse to identify themselves which is against telecommunications laws.   Report them to the FTC and your AG as they are spoofing their telephone numbers with numbers from all over the US that are not valid, They are trying to extort from people on something that is no longer valid.   I am actually surprised that today they woke me up AGAIN with a number that did not change on the id once it was answered and that the number has info behind it when looking it up (this tn of 616-675-2115) as usually they don't.  they leave another number of 877-251-3777.

Received a phone call from this number. The caller left no message.

I have been getting calls from this number for over a month.  Today 14 April, I have already received 4 calls and no one responds when I pick up.

This is my second time reporting this number. They just called me again this morning almost 3 months after the last time. Not sure what I should do to get them to stop. I have looked into this number with Better Business Bureau and they are clearly a scam and have one of the worst grades on the BBB's website. Should I call someone? Help.

This number has been trying to get a hold of me for going on a month now. I have never picked up since I didn't know the caller ID, so I don't know who they are. Though, in reading other similar complaints concerning this same number, it's most likely a scam. While trying to research this number, I've found out that the calls are originating from Casnovia, MI.

I think I just got ripped off. They seem very shady and very rude. No supervisors are ever available to talk, when I asked for persons name of who I was speaking with she hung up on me. When I called right back and knew it was the same person she said she had never talked to me before. Whe I did get her name she had to think about it so I asked her to spell it, this was very hard for her since I don't think she could remember the name she had given herself. I am very upset and want to forget about it.
She also couldn't remember the names of her supervisors. I really feel like this is a scam. Protect yourself and report them if they try to contact you and demand a formal bill in the mail for proof.

This company has been calling for a month, no message. I picked up this morning and told them they had the wrong #. Since I have been getting these type of calls for almost 4 years for the person who apparently had this # before me, I can only assume it was debt collection.

This number called me twice today and left no message.

I was getting repeat robo-calls from this number looking for someone whose last name matched mine but nothing else about the name was related to me. I called back to that number & finally got a live human, told them to knock it off. The woman sort of talked over me but said they'd quit. Sounds like debt collection to me.
