Missed the call and did not leave a message

I received a call from this number as well "Name Unavailable" my cell-phone's caller ID read along with this number. I NEVER answer unknown, name unavailable or any other weird name not in my phone-book/ contact list.

If you have Metro PCS (any Android smart phone like Samsung or Huawei), you can "block" this number so it will always go to voice-mail, and never ring :)

Here's the how-to:

Go to Received Calls.
Press and hold that number.
. . . . . new window pops up . . . . .
> Add to Contacts.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
> Create New Contact.
Save as 'Scam' or 'No Good'
> Go to Contacts / Phone Book
Go to the new contact you just added. "Name Unavailable" or "Scam" or "No Good"

Press Menu Button > Options > Incoming Calls - Send calls directly to Voice Mail (check mark)

The next time they call, your smart phone will not ring, instead that call will go to voice mail, even though they will not leave a message.

I looked it up and the phone number is calling out of Grand Rapids, Michigan - just to give everyone a heads up. I do not know anyone in Michigan. I dont speak spanish so I have no idea what they were saying but it was definitely a long recording. Spam, on my cell phone. Great. I agree with someone else's comment about the possibility that these scammers are going fishing for phone numbers on craigslist.

Same number contacted me today 11-15-2011, though I didn't pick up. I figured it was one of "those".... I've posted my cell on craigslist to sell things so I'm pretty sure that's where these scammers go fishing............... YES, BE AWARE!

I Got a phone call from 6169802022 on june 01, a woman in Spanish speak indicating i won 1000 dollar, i cut the phone, sure is a fraud, be careful

A guy called in spanish on may 24 2011 and told my mom she had won $1000. Then he asked for her name, address, credit car information if it was with Visa or Master Card. We gave them all wrong information and after they put us on hold they said the information wasn't correct. That means they was triying to use the card. Be aware people. also 407 982 8000

I got call from 616 980 2022 today, June 6th, 2011. A spanish lady said a got $1,000. She asked for my name and address, I just cut the communication. Please be aware of those scams. Never give true info on yourself!!!!!!!!!!
