i get a call from this number some time 3 time a day geting tire of it so stop this calling

This idiot calls often. For the last 2 weeks they called numerous ties a day. Today I answered and a guy with an Indian dialect talked. Asked for someone with a different name than mine. Maybe some bill collector? Quit calling!!!!!

Cannot settle this, this number has called 6 times today, leaves no message,answered once and no one responded. 8/13/07

Won't quit calling.  Calls at least twice a week

I've received calls from this company, my no.is not listed, is on the "do not call registry" and I filed a complain about this company online. Hope will work.

Too funny, they just called me and a male with an Indian accent asked for my husband's ex wife.  I was immediately ticked.....  LOL.  I'm on the do not call registry also.  I asked him what this had to do with and he said that it was not a sales call, but he was trying to collect on a debt and needed to get in touch with her.  My number is also unlisted and I asked him how he got my number.  He said that he had her application in front of him with her signature, SSN, DOB, (which was all correct and I can't believe that he gave me that information) and it stated that this was her home number.  I went off on him, gave him her mother's number, asked him to never call this number again, and to leave a message with her mother for her not to list this number as her's.  

I tried to reverse look it up, but all I came up with was it was a wireless call.  I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the new "track" phones because she has several.......  Too weird....  I will file a complaint the next time that they call because it was right at 9pm when he called here.

I recieve a call from this number at least once a week, sometimes more.  Caller ID lists the name as "FLORIDA" (407-441-7826).  I believe this to be a debt/collection agency attempting to recoup on the previous owner of my phone number.

They always leave a message (automated) stating that someone from this number MUST call back regarding Urgent Personal Business, however, never mention whom they are attempting to call.

I've finally figured this one out. The excuse for these calls is usually a long-ago, fictitious "debt". This is to get around the "DO NOT CALL" law, which DOES allow calls from debt collectors. When you tell them that (a) you aren't the person they're looking for,  or (b) you don't owe that money, they then ask you to "verify" your name, Social Security number, address and in some cases, your bank account number!  So the REAL GOAL OF THESE CALLS IS TO STEAL YOUR IDENTITY. This is evidently a nation-wide, ongoing scam. Report it to your telephone company, the FTC, the Do Not Call Registry (if you're on that list) and your state's Attorney General. These thieves identify themselves as agents of OCWEN. Whether that's true or not is unknown.

I called these people back at 866-218-3885 (number left on the machine, even though caller ID had 407-441-7826) and they claimed to be calling about a "business matter".  When I pressed them about exactly who they were trying to reach (because I've been receiving a lot of wrong number calls), they claimed to be looking for a "Damone".  I told them I didn't know anyone by that name and they said they would remove my number from their directory.  After searching this number on Google, I realized they must be telemarketers.

This is a fraud. TELL THEM NOTHIING. HANG UP.

I just called and spoke to someone and told him I was NOT the person they are looking for. he claims that they are taking me off the list. 866-218-3885..
I started getting calls from 407-441-7826 yesterday and am got about 15 calls since then.

I am getting these calls myself. I have a 407 number but I live in California now. They are calling me at 6am my time. I called 866-218-3885 and I received the same operator that called me at 6am.

I told them I was Susy and to contact that other person by other means. I will update this if I receive a mailer. Even if they really are a collection agency if you ask them to stop calling and to contact the person by other means they are required to by law.

Call many times a day do not leave message.  Do not say anything when call is answered either.

Is there a way to block number?

um... other sites report it as OCWEN FINANCIAL... but i dont have any mortgage.. am very current on my car payment... not too bad off on my credit cards... i refuse to answer and i would advise the same...  i have been getting phone calls about every half hour to an hour starting at 9am to 9pm EST for 3 days now and clearly there is no end in sight... not changing my number and i am NOT going to answer it... leave me alone people!!! lol

This number called over 20 times in the past two days, never leaves a message.  I never answer calls from unknown numbers, don't know if anyone would actually be there, based on what I've read here.

This number has called my cell 23 times in two days. Who owns the number? This is a volation of the FDCPA.

These calls are continous all day and all night.  This has got to stop.  It is on my cell and they will not speak when anwered or leave message when not.  Please help.

If they are a collection agency then why no answer when you call back and why do they hang up when you answer.  Is this legal.  Seems to me that a collection agency should be bound by law to identify themselves.   They are calling my cell number

Says he wants to talk to Name of person in house hold and I asked what this is about and he demands to speak to person. Says that he has some business deal for that person. Told him I've reported his name and # to Law Enforcement and he does not care. Bottom line is this is a person or group of people OUT TO COMMITT FRAUD against anyone they can.  JUST HANG UP ON THE LOW LIFES. If Claude had any brains, he?d realize that the person he wants to speak to is in ANC, D.C.

The company goes over to India, as a business overseas. So far we have found some of the other #'s that they call on are going back to an address as follows 12650 Ingenuity Drive Orlando, Florida, 32826
But the phone prefix comes out of Winter Park FL.
Maybe its time FDLE gets wind of these calls.

I STILL receive calls from this number! Some days they call as many as 6-8 times! I have called back almost every time & get a recording that the number is out of service. They NEVER leave a message. Anyone know who this is? Or where they really are?

For the past month I have been receiving calls from these idiots at all hours, mostly when I am at work or between the hours of 5pm-9pm. You answer & they do not respond, you call back the number 407-441-7826 & you receive a message that it is out of service. They do not leave a message. They are jerks for lack of a better word.

I keep getting the calls as well.  I am in DC and when I call the number back I get sorry the number you have reached is not in service. If it is a "debt collector" they have a legal responsibility to state they are, if they do not dont even bother answering.  I will be reporting this to our state consumering protection agency, as well as everyone else should.
