They call our house 6-7 times a day, even on weekends asking for my husband. When I say he's not home, they hang up on me. I tried telling them to stop calling, and they told me only he could tell them that. SO, I had him do that one day, and they still call, 6-7 times a day. On the caller ID it says HSBC Card Services. Today, I ORDERED CALL BLOCK FROM THE PHONE COMPANY JUST FOR THEM.

Unwarrented Solicitation.

Received call from this number today. Asking my name and said they wanted to update my account number and sell me some type of insurance that would cover my Boscov's account should something happen to me and I can't pay my balance.

I agree with Pam.  If they can't leave a message then it can't be that important.  I've had bill collectors call for my sister and at least leave a call back number.  My husband has a card with HSBC and has already declined the service they are peddling and yet the jerks keep calling.  The Do Not Call list is no help since we have a business relationship with them if I understand correctly.

I get the same.  Everyday they call 3-4 times, never leave a message.  I screen all of my calls and never answer anyone of them I don't know.  If they want to talk bad enough they can leave a message and I will probably NOT call them back.

very rude individual, trying to force a person to give them your credit card number.  Gets very nasty when you tell her no.

what i did to finally get rid of all their calls...
changed my phone number on the Credit Card account to my Grand Central number
Then i went and told grand central to play the
number not in service recording when any of their 5 numbers tries to call
NEVER got any calls when dh opened his account last year
was just when i opened my card two months ago that i get flooded with calls

This company tries to call everyday, all day.  I do have a loan with them but I make my payment at least two weeks in advance most of the time.  They have been calling for several weeks and I don't answer but I finally decided to because I'm sick of them calling every 45 minutes.  It sounded like it was possibly some kind of automated system so I hung up. I have a loan and make my payment, I'm not interested in anything else with them.

This number has been running up my cell phone minutes.  They call all day while I work - as a teacher - and I have the phone on in case of emergencies with my grandchildren.  Hopefully there will be some form of consequences for this company - I will be pursuing it with my son-in-law in federal law enforcement.

HSBC, this company tried to get me to get insurance on my credit card in case
something happend to either my husband or I, when I told them no, they wouldn't take no for an answer, I said what do I have to do to get rid of you.
They've called me under phone no;231-732-2866, 201-257-4537 also.
If they have to call you under so many different numbers, it can't be anything
legitimate. I've call blocked every number, but they'r filling up my call
blocker. I'm on the national no call list too.

I also get these calls.  It is a very sophisticated computer system generated call.  It's not a real person on the phone talking to you.  I played with them one day making up strange sentences.

Call came in on Monday 4/14/08 at 8:15pm Pacific Time.
Asked if a member of the household was home.
I said she is home, would you like to talk to her?
Man voice said "No, I will call her back later". He hung up.
If it is a solicitor or from HSBC Card Services, what not just talk to person whom they called for?

I picked up the phone with caution, and before I could even answer "hello?" they hung up... I called them back, got a weird machine that kept cutting out, but I understood this... "To be taken off our call list, press 1 now..."  I did and well if they call back I'll answer each time and try to be taken off.

If I don't post again, that means it worked.

They're calling me in Texas 3-5 times a day asking for a Welton Miller.  I keep telling them they have the wrong number.  The 616 area code is in Grand Rapids, MI.  On my caller ID, it has this number and says LEADGEN.  I am contacting the Texas and Michigan Attorney Generals.

I'm going to play skinamax in the background next time.

1.Asking for my son.  I ask to give a message, they say no and hang up.
2. Ask again for my son. I start to ask if they have his number, they start to play a recording for who I should contact if I have questions. Too angry to be smart enough to jot down the number.
3.Multiple calls made - I quit answering. The one time I did, they hung up on me.

He asked for me and hung up!  I feel sad.

It is an automated system.  The "man" isn't human, it is an interactive recording.

My husband answered the phone when I wasnt home. They asked for me by name and when my husband asked if he could take a message, the gentleman said no and hung up.

This number is used by a company representing HSBC calling on business with associated with your credit card account(s).

Ask's for my wife by name and when i  confront him he says no message and hangs up.

I have been having a lot of random LD numbers call my work phone. This is one of them.
