Getting calls from this number for several days now. Google says it's some kind of telemarketer so I don't answer it but I am getting tired of the calls.

Same here, I got call on my cell phone about "job placement".  said they got my info from applying for a card at Walmart or Home Depot.  Which I have never done.  Caller had my email address, too.  Asked me to confirm it, which I did.  Said I would get an email within 24 hours (i haven't). Asked about if I would like info about educational opportunities.  Wanted to transfer call to someone in that department.  I said no, I had been on the phone too long and had to go.  Apparently they wanted to see if I "qualify" for the "financial aid" they were about to sell me.  Probably would have tried to get credit info, SSN, etc.  No harm to me (so far so good).  I wish I hadn't answered that call.

I got the same call from Portfolio Job Services in the Boston area. I told him he was wasting my cell phone minutes, please remove me from his list. He asked me if my name was "Carl........" and then hung up on me.

Same here only thing is I live 1/4 mile from the walmart home office in Bentonville AR. I would have to be REAL hungry to work for them & I said as much along with remove me, don't call again, hung up on me so who knows!

They called my husbands phone. We are in Michigan there is a job placement place right down the road. STOP CALLING!!!!!

Another growing list of most aggravating numbers coming up on my cell phone. Comes out of Boston MA. This seems like a losing battle. I block one number and two more start up. Is anything being done to stop unsolicited calls on peoples cell phones. I know where this all started. A few years back telemarketers were legally given right to call cell phone numbers. Great work FCC. Is there anything I can do to report these idiots? My blocked call list on My Verizon is just about full and have to pay extra for any more blocked numbers on my block number list. Is the FCC aware of what aggravation and cost they have caused by allowing cell phone numbers to be called?

Portfolio Job Services calling about a job that I applied for.  Only I haven't applied for any jobs.  Wife took message said call them back at 800-717-1455 which doesn't connect to anything when I tried calling it.

I got a call today, I didn't answer but I tried calling back and it just beeped. After reading the comments I won't be answering them. Thank you

This guy keeps calling me about filling out a survey to receive a Wal Mart card. Most of the time the phone rings and I answer it and they hang up.

It's a collection agency.  The bottom of the barrel kind.

How do we make a complaint against these idiots, or if no complaint how do I beat them at their own game. I would love to turn this around on them.

I just called them they said they find better jobs the company is Portfolio Job Services in the Boston area. I think it is a scam. How did they get my cell phone

I have gotten 2 calls from this # today alone. I did not answer, and they did not leave a message. If it's stating you filled out an online survey about WalMart and know that you did not, then do not answer a call from this phone#, it's a known scam. They claim you filled out a survey, and try to talk you into a service that is only supposed to cost you a few dollars, but ends up costing a lot of money. Don't waste your time, don't even answer the call.

received several calls from this number but never now one on the other end.  tried calling them, but the phone goes dead.  would like the calls to stop.

I just got a call from 617-517-4648, no name on my caller ID just the number. The 617 area code is in MA. and I am staying in NJ for now (temp). This must be a telemarketer or the like. If they really wanted me they would leave a message! By reading the comments here it must be a scam type situation.

They called and didn't leave a message. I head a computer beep, like a robot type thing, then a man sighing quite harshly I must add. Why are you sighing so hard? Because people don't answer calls from people they don't know, maybe? Leave a message or text like normal people.

this is a telemarketing scam by far. i am employed so i don't know what they are trying to sell just be careful

I received a call from this number inquiring about my interest in job opportunities. I'm employed and am not looking for work. I told the male caller, who had a southern accent, I was currently employed and was not interested. I also told him if he was a telemarketer, I wasn't interested. I hung up before he could respond.

The caller said I filled out an on-line survey... I said I didn't, remove me from your list.
He said I requested a Wal-Mart card or job...I said didn't, remove me from your list.
He said he understood my attitude but it is not a sales call...I said REMOVE ME FROM YOUR LIST.
He said we will just try back later....I said NOOO!
He hung up.
I want to know what company this is so I can file a formal complaint. Where can I do that?

Received call approximatly 5:02 p.m. Did not answer. Caller did not leave message. I am on the Massachusetts Do Not Call Registry. I would like to know who tried to call me. Thank you.
