Guy called and said that his name was "John." Said "Hi, how are you today?" Clearly he wasn't calling to find out the state of my health so I said nothing. He repeated himself "Hi, how are you today?" Me: silence.
John: Have I reached XYZ Company.
Me: Yup
John: And who am I speaking to?
Me: What do you want, John?"
John: I was just calling to find out if this was XYZ Company

Man named John called asking for manager by name. Told him manager was not in, refused to leave message, hung up.
