Spoofed number.  The prefix ("147") can't start with a "0" or a "1."

I am used to about half of the calls we receive being solicitation/scam calls.  The woman on the other line was fairly well spoken so I thought this could be a call from one of our customers in San Diego. This is the only identifying information I could get out of her.  
She knew the name of our business and asked for the owner.  When I asked who she was trying to reach, she repeated our business' name.  I told her my name and asked how I could help and she hung up.  In the last week since, we have gotten about four calls.  Today's call did not have a voice on the other end of the line.

I don't understand why we are not being put on the no-call lists, which is my request every time a call goes past introductions.

Depends on what kind of phone you have. Do you have an iphone?

Does anyone know how to block the number?

Just called my new market asking for the owner. I said this is she, and asked who it was. He said his name was Frank and i should come out to san diego some time and he'll take me bungee jumping since we're all the way out in CT. Seemed like a wise a** to me. Pitched me some bs about pens and I asked if they had a website...immediately hung up on me. Haha.

Called and did not leave message. Thanks to everyone's reviews, this number will be blocked.

Get Calls from this number all the time. Same thing asked if the owner was available and then hangs up. We are on the do  not call registry but doesn't seem to work. I ask to be removed from their system they just hang up. Get at least 4-5 calls a week from this number.

A man called asking to speak to the owner. Immediately hung up when I asked what company he was calling from.

They have called twice in the last two days and have not left a message so they are getting blocked.  If you need to tell me something, leave a message.

Just got a call on this number asking to speak to "the owner." I asked who was calling, and he responded, " is this the owner?"

I hung up.  Dude, that's not how this works.  That's not how any of this works.  If you call someone, you'd better be ready to identify yourself.

Had two back to back calls from this number.  The first call was disconnected right after the women asked for the owner and said "happy wednesday", the next was a man asking for the owner.  He was trying to create small talk, which I was not interested in and asked him to cut to the chase.  He didn't like that and hung up on me.  

A man called asking to speak to the owner, I asked if I could help he asked if I were the owner of ... then butchered the name of my business. I asked why he did not know how to pronounce the name and he hung up on me.
