Call the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security and your State Police. When they call back, tell them that you are aware they are running an extortion ring, have notified the authorities and hang up.

Same as everyone else. Told me if I did not call back the very second I receive this message I needed to call them immediately our my attorney of record to call. Do not disregard this message if he did not hear from me he wished me good luck as the situation unfolds on me. Gee I saw that same line in some else post. LOL He used the name of Fernado Tauras. When I did call back they were very confused on who I was asking for. After I contiually asked him to send me a registered letter with the information all he would say was that they had emailed me. I said no I want a registered letter so we both had proof of this. What he did not know was I recorded the whole conversation. After several attempts to get him to send me a registered letter he put me on elevator music and then the call was dissconnected. Think I will keep calling them back. Especially when I am up for work at 2:00am.

I have been getting a lot of calls from 6192928263 and they says "this is uhhhhh...... harrison law firm" idiots!! I gave them a # to a lawyer and said i filed bankruptcy chapter 7 good luck pulling money out of my lawyer its a scam to get people to pay money to these people when they don't owe a penny !

I received 2 phone calls.One was for me and the other was for my husband(to my phone).Told my to" call back --very urgent matter--If you do not call back i can't be responsible for what happens to you--so don't ignore this message and call back as soon as you get it."Hard to understand him.I think he said his name was bryan jackson.When I called back i was put on hold.(person answering phone seemed confused as to who bryan jackson was).I hung up and called again.This time a different person answered.(it sounded like a different person.thick accent)Answered the phone as legal services of orange county.Told him I called legal services of orange county and reported them.Also said I called State attorney generals office where i am from and relayed to them the threatening voice mail he left on my phone.I then hung up.This call was from a number that was unavailable but the message said to call back at 619-292-8263.

I told the guy he was going to get the same thing Bin Ladin got if he kept calling me!!!

People from this number are calling my work, my cell and leaving messages saying they are legal advisors.  I don't know who they are or what they want, but they won't stop.

I have called them back knowing full well it's a scam.  They have called the wrong person.  I've called them non-stop using 7 different lines all at once and I will never get tired.  They have met their match. They have not called me back however.  Losers.

They called me and same wording.g "time sensitive" I called back and told them to send me info on what I owe money for he told me he couldn't and I just had to take his word for it. I then informed  him that I was recording this phone call for fraudulent threats against me and he Hung up. I have called back every 5 minutes since then to afield them how it feels. Hey I'm on medical leave from work I got 2 more weeks to annoy the hell out of them.

I also got a call from this # 619-292-8263.  I have been getting calls from this scam for well over a year.  It all started when my wife applyed for a payday loan as a school project to see just how easy a person could get a payday load.  Once she applyed and got her offiers she never accepted any of them and 2 months later the calls started.  All the calls are from guys with a east indian sounding voice.  I finaly got tired of getting these calls so I called the number back and when I did it sounded like a broiler room " The movie "  Tones of phone ringing in the back ground.  When I questioned the guy he hung up on me.  So I called back and they picked up and then hung up.  Called a 3rd time and they said they couldnt hear me but ever time I stopped talked they would say they couldnt hear me.  This is a scam, Do not give them any money.  Just keep calling them and give them a hard time like they will you

I got the same call , but i let it go to vms, he said his name was justin black and it was a time sensitive case, and that he needs my attorney to contact them as soon as possible gave me the number of 6192928263. I contacted then back and Spoke to a David, ( did not sound like a David to me ) however I asked what frim this was and he stated the Federal Credit Buraeu of Investigation, and I then asked what they did there and he said are you stupid, u are some kind of idiot to ask what the Federal Bureau of Investigation does. I Get bothered by them once a week, they have called my employer. A guy called today identifiying himself as Justin Black and when I call back the guy that answered asking who I am and what's my number. The man says he is Orange county legal services. Thank you Lisa and Joe. I died laughing at the things you said to do to them. The whistle blowing topped it all.

i got a call with the same bs from "edward walker". the number is 619-704-9458. this number is from "magic Jack" and i imagine most of the numbers they use are.  I made contact with magic jack through their website and they confirmed the number was theirs. They also told me to have a police officer at my home to verify a report is being made, contact them with the officer present via their on line live rep., then they can proceed to release the name of the owner of the number and file formal charges against them. that is what im about to do and i suggest others follow until we close these idiots down.

They left a message to call back and the guy with a major accent said his name is Richard Johnson and that if I don't return the call that he wished me good luck as the situation unfolds on me.

I received a voice mail from this phone number as well, and if I did not return their call "good luck" with what will happen to me. I called the number back and explained to them that the number they were calling no longer belonged to the person they are trying to reach. And futhermore, I did not appreciate the threatening voicemail. I told them if I received any more threatening phone messages from them that I would call the police, and I told them I was recording the call. The person who answered agreed to stop calling. I received 3 calls from this number today. Absolutely ridiculous!

They stated they're from Orange County, however the person that left the message and who answered had a strong Indian accent. I'm sure some cheap a** American Company is probably sub-contracted their collections work out to them, and is using the area code to sound like the call is originating from the States.

By the way, leaving threatening messages such as this one is against FDCPA law. If they continue to harrass people like this more people should call the authorities on them...

Just got a call from this number - it's a scam and they call me every so often. I don't know of a way to really get rid of them, but the first thing I do when I hear the broken accent is look up the phone number they are using and it's always associated with a scam. I couldn't even get the name of this group because the accent was so heavy this time.

No legitimate collection agency threatens jail or tells you to have a lawyer.

i am being harrassed aswell by these people.  i receive calls from all kinds of numbers and today was from 619-292-8263.  from a Justin Black, they said they have a pending allegation against me and if i don't reach them they wish me "good luck" with what will happen to me.  I take that as a threat I already have an open case with my local police but I will file a complaint with attorney generals office and move up the latter.  they've called my job.  when i called back the guy said "orange county legal services" i ask for a justin black and he say's oh she isn't available when the message is left by a man.  they have an accent like arabian/indian.  middle eastern.  he told me to shut up i told him i was recording the call and he just started mumbling.  I told him I was going to contact FBI.  asked them before i started to tell them that what their address was to send in a cease/desist letter and of course he denied.    AS OTHER PEOPLE HAVE SAID DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFO AND DON'T GET SCARED IT'S A SCAM.  RECORD THE CALLS YOU MAKE OR YOU RECEIVE, ASK THEM FOR PHONE #'S ADDRESS.  If it's an actual and legitimate collection agency by law you have the right to send a cease/desist letter to stop the calls.

These guys have been calling me for over a year. Every time I ask them to send an invoice or statement for the charges they refuse,which is rediculous to me if it was a legitimate case. They go away for a while then they come back same drag your going to jail and all that.There just hustlers trying to get over on somebody. I even waited to see if any thing would happen after a "heated discussion" But nothing.
I filled out an application online for a loan and thats when it all began they must have fished the info from the internet. And I paid off the loan which makes it even crazier!

Some guy named Victor called me from 619-292-8263,last week his name seemed to have been Mitchell and the number he called from was 818-451-4693 and he told me last week to send money through Western Union(they wanted $1245.45,but were willing to accept $623 if I paid it right away),or I would be arrested for an outstanding loan from years ago,and that he worked for the Orange County Legal Services,if I wouldn't pay they would get the local sheriff to arrest me.Now he gave me a fax number to sent the confirmation from the Western Union transaction,which funny was a number in Texas and the person I was supposed to sent the money to was in Illinois(I find that very odd!!!).Now today there was a new message on my phone which was from the 619 number(telling me to return the call or my attorney,or he wishes me luck for what will be coming my way),my question is,how to get rid of those calls and what to do about them.It gets really annoying and I would love to know how they got my information,due to the fact that this is my boyfriends number and I only ever give people my cell number and how they know where I live.

they are frauds.  do not give them any information and tell them you're on to them - if you curse, then curse them out - they'll probably curse you back which they did to me the other day.  just call them and harrass them back - i call them constantly and yell and scream and turn up the radio and blast it intheir ears - now i have a whistle i'm going to blow into the phone.  once this one stops calling, trust in a few months you'll get another one of these calls with a different name and a different number.  please remember it's the same group of scammers and don't believe a word they say.

i totally do that - i have been calling and calling them - i turn up the radio full blast and put the phone up to the speaker.  today i have a whistle and i can't wait to get out in the parking lot and blow it in their ear! i am so sick of these people.  i get these calls every few months --- all the same script, all the same heavy accents but all different american, generic names.  now it's just a game to me and i cant help but continue to harrass them the way they harrass me.  when they told me f you b**tch yesterday and then went on to tell me he'd keep calling and keep calling me and harrassing me i told him the same and that he'd met his match.  everyone, just please keep calling and harrassing them, let them know we all have their number, we all know they are scammers and trying to extort our money --- let's keep together on this.

Never let them even speak, just keep up the challenge and tell them what you think. Dare them to call the police or lay charges.

What happens here is that seemingly all of us at one time or another went online and applied for some sort of payday loan.  When we did this we entered in our personal information and there are these companies that either purchase or gain access to our information and then have call centers overseas that try to take advantage of people that just think right off the bat that they do owe this money and if they don't pay them that some sort of legal action will take place.  These companies prey on us because they feel we were desparate enough to try to get a payday loan so if they threaten legal action they feel we have no money for an attorney or the common sense to ask for a written verification of debt to be sent.  If they sent a false document in the mail then there could be federal charges involving fraud placed on them.  It is sad that we suffer through thousands of calls as a result with none of them having any validity.  The only real solution is to change your number because all of teh FTC complaints that get filed do not seem to be providing a quick remedy.  Hopefully over time something will get done though.

These idiots have called quite a few times. Always the same script just different names. Victor Wedman, David Williams, Paul Johnson are just a few. Can't speak good English worth crap. I told told them all there is no way that is your name. I thought it was funny and lead them on like a was getting ready to settle and pay them some money for something I never done. How funny. It was!!! Now I'm sick of these ignorant people. Hopefully the building there in will collapse or blowup. No joke. Scammers should be hung for trying to cheat instead working. My name is Ann Bruce this telephone # keeps calling me from 619-292-8263 saying I need to call him back stating hes a attorney. That I owe him money The name he is using is Edward Jones .I didn't give him information. I believe he is a fraud.

do NOT give them your info.  i get these calls every few months.  this 619 #, i called the actual Legal Aid office in Orange County and they told me there is an investigation into this (as well as the other lines they use).  this voicemail was from "tyler smith".  he definately is NOT a person who would be named tyler smith.  they use very american, generic names, however, theyre accents are very heavy - they use the same script.  i just keep calling them and harrassing them - i just called them again and said do not call me, i know you are scammers and he said (word for word) F... YOU, B....tch !! NO legitimate collector would ever speak to someone like that.  please do not let them scare you.  we all need to band together and harrass them like there is no tomorrow.  i am sooooo sick of these extortionists!

They just contacted myself at work, and I refered to this post and they hung up on me. This is a complete scam.

they called me 10 times from a 1000 (that is how it came up on my phone) within a 10 minute period of time - yes, they called every minute! I checked the times! They then called my work and left a message threatening to sue me - I filed bankruptcy in may - and anyone that is part of anything to do with me financially knows this. They are bogus.
