I'm sorry to hear all the bad calls. It is however in the industry like all. You did the right thing.
Our industry hires everybody. Some company's even straight from prison.
I do want to thank you for being courteous enough to see that its not "ALL THE TELEMARTKETERS" like alot of the comments I have read in here after his passing last week. I stumbled across this looking for info to his death. I worked at a few places through the years and he was at them as well. God works in mysterious ways. We as people do also. Thanks for being a NICE ONE AND HAVING THE UNDERSTANDING TO REALIZE IT.

There are company's (lead generation services) that collect this and sell this OR places like
yellowpages.com. that is free. They Update there list online for free every 6 months or even faster now.

Received three annoying, rude calls from this number

I get calls from this number at least twice a day!!

Really mean + nasty calls

Calls me and says mean things!

I too am in Real Estate sales and I received a call from this number yesterday when I was with clients so was unable to answer it but figured they would leave a message-- as most common people do.

This morning about 20 minutes ago I recognized the number from yesterday and answered my cell phone... and there went the immediate up tempo badly voiced phone solicitation for JUMBO PEN sales.

Anyways, I can't continue further as my day is getting quite hectic... BUT IF YOU SEE THIS NUMBER DON'T ANSWER IT....

Looks like everything they sell is crap!!!  Let's flush this company!!!

I get a call on my cellphone a couple of times a month from this number.  I am on the no call list for my cellphone and I plan to report this company for the repeated calls.  I called the number this afternoon to see who was calling from my caller ID.  Its a recording that just says if you have a fax, fax now.  I left a voice message instead.  I was polite and explained that I get calls on my cellphone alot from this number and was wanting to know who it is and what they want.  I got a call back a few minutes later from a man by the name of Dave. He said he was Dave with the Promo Company and I sound more beautiful then ever.  Ignoring this stupid greeting, I asked what he wanted.  Afterall he is soliciting me on my cellphone and I am paying for it.  He said he has a fantastic idea to start off the new year.  I said if this is a sales call I'm not interested, good bye.  He calls back a couple of more times and I did not answer.  Figuring he is probably demented and stalking me now, I picked up the third call and said, "Dave, if you call me one more time I am going to report you".  He said, "Are you an idiot? You called me."  I said, "I was only returning your numerous calls and I am on the do not call list and will report you."  He said, "Do you understand english?" and at this point, not wanting to lower myself to his level I hung up.  He has not called back, but he needs to be reported. I would think that a telephone salesperson would be more polite to people on the phone, but this is a first.  He is rude and has not phone etiquette.

This rude SOB called and was very rude--called my Broker a B***h---refused to give his full name or company.

I too have had a few phone calls from this smuck. He has a million dollar sales voice and two dollar brain.  I found out his name is Chris, but don't have his last name yet.  The phone calls are always the same, almost word for word, it appears he's selling some kind of pen.

In last 3 years have been called many times by this number.  Told the man first few times "Not interested, do not call again!".  He's rude and argumentative.  Starts off with my name, then "You sound more beautiful then ever". How can he think that anyone will want to talk to him after that?  Calls back several times right after first time, though I said to remove from call list.  Either has rude remark or just hangs up.  Usually calls right back, maybe 3 calls within minutes.  Harassment, what else. When I call back no one ever answers, it goes to answer machine, which says "Golden State".

A guy called me selling pens a couple weeks ago and was REALLY rude to me when I politely told him I was not interested and we have own marketing done in house.  Well the SAME guy called me back today and said he was David with Pen something or other and I said is this David the Pen Guy that was really rude to me a few weeks ago and he denied it and then told me that he wanted to tell me about a really great idea for the new year (but I totally recognized his voice because he made me so mad last time.)  And I said, ?Okay because there was a pen guy that called a couple weeks ago and he was really rude so I wanted to make sure you aren?t him.?  And he said ?Listen, lady ? I just said I wasn?t and if you?ll shut up long enough, I will tell you about my great idea.?  And I said, ?Well David, I am not really interested in buying pens at this time, see here at moreland??? and he interrupted me and said ?So you are gonna be rude to me now just because some other pen guy pissed you off??  And I said, ?I?m not being rude, I was actually trying to help you by telling you that we have our own marketing department, so that you don?t have to work down your list and call other agents from Moreland?.?  And he said ?Hey no sh#*t you all have your own marketing departments, so what?s that got to do with me??  And I said ?now I KNOW you are the same rude pen guy cuz you told me the same exact thing last time and you know what David, I just changed my mind ? based on your ever-so-charming sale tactics, I now would like to buy 1oo million cases of new years pens.  Where do I sign??  And he then called me a f*^#ng b@#ch and hung up.  A few minutes later he called back and pretended we had not spoken.  I asked him why he thought we would get along any better this time and he denied ever having spoken to me.  He then launched into his pitch again and I said - "Dave - I am not buying squat from you."  He called me ignorant, etc.. and I hung up again.  He has since called me 2 other times (blocked caller ID) but I havent answered.  I sent out an email to some fellow agents who another 5 of them have had fights with him in the last week - he made one agent cry.  I called his boss (I think) at The Pen Guys (just googled it) and asked if he had a Dave that made his sales calls.  He said he did. Told him what happened and he said he would take care of it, but he was real sarcastic about it, so I don't know.   We reported him to the local police as well.

This guy keeps calling me and when you don't respond he keeps calling. Uses the same line about being more beautiful than your picture. I believe he is trying to sell some kind of pens or something. Last time he called, I was in the ICU with my aunt and said I couldn't talk..he kept ringing my phone and ringining my phone and then left me a message calling me a f****in  b**** and that I was rude.  I saw his number today and decided not to answer it. Someone needs to disconnect his phone. Keep reporting this guy.

My business partner received the call from this guy asking for me, and she explained that I wasn't available and could she take a message. He said no. He preceeded to call back several times becoming more rude each time and used the "do you speak english" line. We googled the number and found these complaints. Amazing he is still in business.

My experience is the same as all of the others.  He actually told me to shut up and listen.  I was left alone for about 6 months but he has called 3 or 4 times in the last 2 weeks.  No one should have to put up with  his type of abuse.

Same rude dude called me yesterday and has called me many other times. The script went from the beautiful thing to Shut-up, to the do you speak English line.

He'd be so much better off doing something else.He'd probably make more money, too.

I, too, have received rude calls from this person.  He uses the 'beautiful' opening line, then proceeds to become extremely rude when I say I am not interested.  I looked up www.goldenstateprintingservice.com on whois at register.com and this is the info that came up:

Well, I'm one of the new victims of these people.  I'm not sure how they get our cell phone numbers, but I'm wondering if it could be through real estate marketing.  I noticed that another person commented that they answered politely thinking it could be a RE customer.  I did the same thing, and the guy responded with the "Hey Buddy...you sound like a million bucks" line.  I immediately hung up and he tried to call again, but I just ignored it.  Obviously he didn't leave a message.  Anyways, I Googled the phone number and found the website for this "company."
