I've been getting these calls at work AND on my cell phone.  Both have caller ID, so I don't answer at either phone.  (Personal policy is to not answer calls from numbers I don't know. If they want to talk to me they'll leave a message.)  Never a message.  Assumed it was some sort of scam, but nice to verify.  THANKS ALL!

I got that same call the other day from this number. It was a lady though who said those exact same words. She named off a card number that wasn't mine and wanted to verify an address she never knew. I hung up quickly, ain't no one going to scam me! What's weird is that they called my cell phone which isn't listed. It scares me.

This number has called my cell phone 10 times in the past week.  Yes, in just one week, ten times!  I finally called the number back today to see if anyone would answer (they never leave voicemail) and I got a recording that said I could leave a message at the beep or press 9 to be removed from their call list.  I pressed "9" and a message said "Thank you.  You will be removed from our calling list."  We will see if they continue to call.  If so, I will block them via my cell phone company.

This number keeps calling my cell phone and won't leave a message.  Calls at all hours.  I refuse to answer it based on these postings.  Thanks everyone for letting us know that this number is part of a scam.

Third time in 2 weeks... Glad I wasn't available to answer, sounds like some kind of scam.

i got a call a few days ago and no message was left.  called back but an answering service picked up.  this afternoon i was called again and the man said it was charlie from visa with my account ending in such and such and he wants to send me $60. in gas rebates.  how did this person get my unpublsihed phone number, my mailing address, etc?  reverse phone shows it is in the san diego area. a number of months ago this same scam happened to me and the phone originated from tampa, florida.  and at the same time a number of other odd numbers were calling me day and night.  what is going on here?  offda!!

I've been getting calls from this number, too.  No messages were left. When called up the number to find out where this was coming from, it went straight to a voice mail.  It's got to be a telemarketing scam!

Whoever this is, they keep calling...at all hours of the day...wake me up in the mornings...sometimes a male voice speaks, but he never seems to know I'm there (?) and so never actually initiates a conversation...there's a lot of noise in background (voices, phones ringing, etc)...so it seems to be some sort of telemarketer??

Very annoying. I have both asked and told them to: NOT CALL ME ANYMORE!!

Said he is from AMEX and that I won free gas. I doubt that...
