Rec'd same threatening message on my phone.  Rather than calling Doug Diamond from "Swift" back, I contacted the Edge fitness club, to which I belong.  Upon their advisement, do not give Swift any information.  All bills can be resolved through them directly.  My credit card expired that I used to sign up with, and needed to be updated.  Scammers use "Swift" to obtain your personal info.  

I contacted Swift Fund when I saw that I had something go to collections that I had no idea what it was.  I found a number to Swift Fund and talked to somebody who identified them self as Doug Diamond.  Apparently Gold's Gym sent me to collections in 2002 but Doug said that my date was 2006.  The date it showed on my credit was 2013.  Doug said his company just took over the debt from another company...im not sure why it took over 10 years for something to show on my credit and why Gold's sent it to collections a long time after i stopped going to the gym.

Doug Diamond works for a collection company called Swift and he houses out of California. I have an outstanding balance at a personal training company and I verified his credentials with the personal training company.

Collextion agency collectiong on best fitness and maybe.some other types of accts... Shady company are not state complient when calling or answering calls.... Ilegal stuff def occurs

Rec'd the same message as everyone else - time sensitive, contact immediately - all gym memberships have one month paid up front so there is no reason to make an 'exit' payment for the month - I have made a report with the better business bureau against ABC financial and wrote a letter to the states attorney - sharing of information is illegal if not agreed upon in writing. I am beyond aggrevated - just blocked the phone number.

If "Doug Diamond" contacts anyone do not give him any information. It is a scam I have contacted the FBI in New Haven CT they have it on file. If they get enough complaints they will investigate it

I have dealt with a lot of collection agency's in the past and "Doug Diamond" called and said I had defaulted on my gym membership. That I owe 136.00 dollars. When I returned his phone call he never once said he was a collection agency and he never claimed this is an attempt to collect a debt and that whole stuff they are required to tell you. I did my reasearch and its a scam. I have already contacted my Attorney Generals office in CT.

Person left a very threating message on my answering maching at 9:30am cst on Jan 7,2013 saying they were reporting me to three different credit breaus.    the gentelmans name was Douge diamond and that he worked for "financeal services" my wife and I had a gym membership but we left.  do not give any information this is a scam!.

Doug Diamond called today in a very threatening message he stated that I needed to get back to him immediately to talk about a case. When I called back he did not answer the phone business like. I asked who is this? He called out my name like he was waiting for me to call. Never stated where he worked. He claimed to be getting money for training sessions. He first told me not to talk to the company any longer that they wanted me to talk to him only he wanted my information. I gave him an earful and he ended the conversation by telling me to contact him after I spoke to the company. Confusing? A scam? YES

Also got a call from this number.  Said his name is Doug Diamond and then I needed to call right away and that they had something against me.  I called them back and it for sure is fraud.  They answered and did not say the company name, would not tell me who they were, I gave them a fake name and they still wouldn't say who they are, he started yelling at me and saying he was going to pursue with it and then I told him I would turn the number in and press charges.  He then continued to swear at me and then I just hung up.  They are just waiting for one stupid person to give them information so they can get money.

call from Doug Diamond, stating he has some type of file on me and that it was imperative I call back before things get worse. No idea what he is talking about but here is what made it sketchy:
1. does not identify the company or who he represents
2. Uses multiple versions of the term "time sensitive" with a threatening tone. ie: scare you into calling back because if you don't, apparently the sky will come crashing down because that's how "grave the situation is"
3. Everything about the message was vague, at no point did he specify what the call was really about.
if you get one of these calls and call back, be careful what info you release about yourself over the phone. I haven't responded and the sky is still where I last saw it.

my son received a call from some guy named Michael saying that my son defaulted on his gym membership and that if he didn't pay almost $1000 within 2 days he would be reported to all 3 credit bureaus. then he was 'gracious' enough to lower it to $632 and said my son could pay it off in 5 monthly installments. we knew immediately that this was a scam. we called the gym and were told my son only owed $170 and we paid it and cleared it up. DO NOT give these people ANY info...this is a scam!

a relative got this same call, arent sure who this may be.

Also recd a call stating important matter last chance before court proceedings but did not identify himself or provide a company name.

I too received this call he wouldnt identify firm. If this person call's tell him you would like his companys name and if not given cease contact or else you will sue for harrasment. Should end calls.

called family member saying it's an emergency. When I called back and asked for Doug Diamond the contact person. He claimed he could not take the call. He did not answer the phone professionally. He just said hello, without identifying himself or the company.
