I recieved the same call yesterday from this foreign speaking gentleman. I know it's a scam. They keep calling my job. They are using the sam tactics on people.He went so far as to say his name is Frank Jefferson what was so bazaar to me was that his Asain accent with an american name he could barely speak english

I also received the call an was told that I better not disreguard the phone call. Then when I called back a man answerd the phone saying Hello. Im like I just received a call from this number "the man said do u owe money"???? Ive never had a a loan nor anything that would even put my self of oweing anyone. Im really concerned over this matter. I dont feel so alone over this. I keep calliing the number back an get the number Im tring to reach is unable to receive calls at this time.

OMG I just received the same phone call cursed his a** out I was worried for a minute because they have all my information and on top of that his a** couldn't tell me when the deposit was made or who the company was that is suing me. so I'm glad I'm not the only one who received this phone call. he couldn't even tell me the name of his damn company. SN I'm also military.

I just recieved the s pretty much the exact same call as Laura a couple of posts up. But the sad thing is that I'm 16 and a high school student. I've been getting these calls since I got my phone and no matter how many times I block the numbers, the same callers keep getting through. I would just my number, but it's the number that's on all of my college applications and I can't change those at this point. I really wish the police would do something about these people because I'm already a victim of identity theft and I have a feeling that these "people" may have had a hand in it.

I just recieved the phone call as well.  When I threatened to call the police they instantly hung up on me.  When I tried to call back several times, the guy just hung up.  I called yet again and then the  guy yelled at me and told me that I will be in big trouble and I better pay him now!!!!  Amazing that I have no clue what he is talking about....No, sure, not a scam at all!!  Losers!!!!  I wish the cops could do something!!!

Iam in the military too and have recieved calls saying the same thing its just a scam. From phone number 6193990201 saying its frank jefferson...lol i wish the police could do something this is just not right.

oh ya and did anybody have any funds suspiciously come out of their account because 30.00 came out of mine. When I called the number in the echeck they said the it was for payment protection for the same fake loan the so called law people were referring to. I still have yet to see the funds.

I received the same phone call a few hours ago. It freaked me out because they have all of my personal information. The strangest thing about this is that I am an army wife as well. I wonder if this has anything to do with the army's database. I called the FBI to report it. Maybe if enough people complain the fbi can pin these people.

ust a FYI to people....yesterday I got a call from a person saying that they were a attorney(they barely spoke english and had a middle eastern accent) and that I owed $496 for a loan that I took out and never paid....they had my social security number my old employment information....well I knew that it was a scam because I have never taken a loan out for $496 and when I started questioning about the loan date and other questions they didn't know and basically told me they are taking me to court if I didn't pay the amount and of course I told them a few choice words and told them to bug off.....I then reported them to the FBI the number they called me from was 619-399-0201 which is a San Diego number I reported them information to the FBI but this morning one of my coworkers mentioned she got the same phone call yesterday from a number with the same area code saying the same thing and of course she knew it was a scam too.....I am not sure where they got the information from but some how they managed to get both mine and her information and we are not way electronically connected(online) We are both Army wives so I am not sure if that is the way it is connected but it is a payday loan scam the durka durka said that his name was Jeff Morgan and he was a attorney and that his assistant called me (I have a voice mail left by a female) because I was going to go to jail and blah blah I told him he messed up I was in the Army as a military police officer and know tons of CID FBI connections and will be sending the information to them to enjoy his prison time! Which is true I was a MP and know tons of people and sent the information to the FBI in San Diego
