I got a call from "Mike" saying that my social security number is showing up on his report and wanted to make sure nothing funny is going on.  The number he called wouldn't not be associated with me and there is no way my SS# would show up on someone elses report and he'd be able to get a number to call me about it.

"Mike Anderson" left a message saying he didn't "have a lot of time to keep calling" and so I needed to call him back right away. Suspect it's alternate recovery management - a debt collector.

This number keeps calling me and leaving mesages but never says what its about. One time I answered and this guy said I owe money for something I've never heard of. He sounds like a bill collector they do shake downs and figure some poeple will give in just to stop the harasment.
