I got one from a 510 area code, also said it was Sarah,btw. My coworker is Sarah, so I tried to launch the website it listed. Does anyone know if this was a virus thing?

I got one too, from 510 area code. Stating it was Sarah, btw. My daughter whose name is Sarah, goes to school in San Diego, but 510 is from our local area code region. She said it did not come from her.

this number sent a txt to my phone:
"http://www.picsharefile.com talk to me on there? it's mary btw"
these txt messages are coming from several numbers: 619-578-3934, 619-578-1640, 619-606-0946, and most likely more numbers. so the spammer is using several phone numbers to spam from. those look like cell phone numbers from in san diego county that he is using -- probably bought a whole bunch prepaid tracfones to spam from.
