This number is owned be s company named Level3. They have told me that they had found it and more numbers to have been bought by these scamers. There phone number is 877-253-8353. The scammers are using common american names like Robert or Mike. but have a heavy Indiana accent .DI NOT BE FOOLED, they can not have you arrested. Only a city, county , state and/or federal attorney can file criminal charged on a person. Also a government attorney can not file a case against you in any state other thanthe one they represent. so a attorney in. Beverly Hills can only charge you in that county. or city. Not in say like Blount. county Alabama. Please let your local district attorney and the FTC know if you get a call from these ppl.

"Brian Smith" is calling my cell and office phones, leaving the exact same scripted messages as those detailed above. I told him that I know it is a scam and that I have already reported it to the FTC. "Oh, you think this is a scam?" I hung up, and he immediately called back. I don't know how to stop this.

This guy, Robert Smith? he claims has called my home several times with the same threatening, scripted message. He insists that I or my attorney call him immediatley or the situation will unfold on me. This guy has to be stopped. Please report all calls from them. He and his company are a menace.

I asked them of what benefit is it that they should call me and say I'm getting arrested tomorrow. They went on with their spiel again about how I need a lawyer. So I interupted again and demanded they tell me of what benefit is it to them to call me with this ridiculous scam. I said please come and arrest me. I'm begging. She went on to tell me I'm "insane". I had to laugh.

Yes you can. Otherwise ignore 'em. This is a total scam. These people are groups of Indian and Pakistani telephone terrorists and extortionists who prey on single women or mothers, the elderly, people who might have financial problems and people who have had surgeries or serious medical problems. Anyway, anybody they think are vulnerable for any reason.
The US government can't do anything, and the Indian government will NOT do anything.

If they continue to bother you get a call blocker.

They called me as well with the name I go by not my real name. They said myself and my husband would go to jail. They said they sent me paperwork about federal check fraud for a payday loan. I never even took out a payday loan. Anyhow I confirmed it with an attorney and a bank associate. It is a SCAM! Do not give any information. They have been known to steal identities.

ugh! just got a call from them too. I work with a criminal attorney as well and he laughed at the message. They apparently said that the "FBI" would come by and pick me up at my work. Stupids i am under bankrupcy ! i should not get any harrassing calls!
Its crazy how these creditors get away with this! My boss the attorney said to save the information and save the recordings but its a SCAM ! hope this eases some ....

I have gotten several calls on my cell phone from this place as well. They used the name "Daniel Parker" most recently. If there really is something I need to pay or take care of, I'm sure a real law firm would send me something in writing! They cannot keep leaving these harassing messages on peoples phones!

I received a call yesterday from a Steven Brown, he asked my name then if I had an attorney to represent me. I asked him why would I need an attorney to represent me. I told me to hold on, that he would put his supervisor on the line. A guy by the name of "Jack Lewis" picked up the phone and asked me again if I had an attorney to represent me. I asked him why would I need an attorney to represent me. Both men had very thick accents, I could not understand everything they were saying . Long story short, after he tried to in his words "be nice about the situation" told me that I was in big trouble and that I owed for something that I had not idea what he was talking about. I told him that he would need to send me all the paperwork that he had regarding these allegations. "Jack Lewis" became very angry and started to curse and call me names. My phone says the call generated from Beverly Hills, CA, but they never told me the name of their company. I did tell him that he needed to learn the collection laws and he told me that he would turn me over to the Federal Bureau. I asked him the Federal Bureau of what? He started again call me names and I hung up at that time.

WOWWWW! I just got a call from this number too. Idiotic callers from some South Asian accented dumbos sweat shop! The dude said that he was Steven Brown from Beverly Hills Lawyers and Associates and said that there was a case against me and that I needed to pay, or if I had an attorney who could represent me, and that I would be arrested if I would not settle.
If you look on the internet (http://www.bh-la.com/), it is just another legitimate law firm being misrepresented by some scammers!
I asked this Steven Brown what their address was, and he said it was 9355 Burton Way, Beverly Hills, CA 90209 - I was on the computer checking the address out at the same time, and it's literally the Courthouse in BH. Mind you, the actual address of the Beverly Hills firm is located in two offices on Beverly Drive and Charleville.
So I told him that my attorney was Angelica M. Leon and her number was 310.552.2940. He said that he would call her, and I said, "Go ahead!)
Guess what? Angelica M. Leon is Beverly Hills Lawyers and Associates.
Don't be a fool. Collectors cannot threaten you. Know your rights. This is the second time this has happened to me. The last time, I actually spoke to the Managing Partner of the true law firm, and he said to go ahead and tell them, he's my lawyer.
I would love to catch these bozos on a reality TV show. Shame on them!
Robin Thorne 2014-03-06 00:05:44 Unknown
They just keep leaving urgent messages and saying its in my best interest if I or my attorney calls them.
Heather 2014-03-05 23:57:03 Unknown
Total scam. The morons don't even use legal terms correctly. Plus the guy threatened me when I questioned him. Calling the police! They can trace the number. I recorded it.
CWG40 2014-03-05 23:29:08 Unknown
Total scam. New one too. First time I've seen that tack--saying you stole something at work. If that was the case i'd be a crime and the police would have questioned you. I can't believe the nerve of some of these scammers. Ignore 'em.
