I got it today too...same message, e-mail address, and phone number.

So glad I found this...I received a text yesterday from 713-587-9664 with a message to send email to psm0012@hotmail.com.  Same message with same order.  

Here is the text that I send back when I receive these (sadly it happens quite frequently):
"Before I fill an order for you, I must have verification of your identity for security purposes.  I will gladly schedule a time to call  or meet with you if you are local.  Orders will not be filled for anyone unwilling to comply with my business practices.  They are in place to protect my customers as well as my business."

So far, this has worked.  Occasionally I receive a message back calling me a rather unattractive name, however, my business is protected this way.  I use the same text when I receive an email (since they can find your email address on the MK website) or receive an actual order of outrageous nature through my MK website.

Just received same email.   I just told her to email me her address and a current phone call before I could talk to her.  She did not respond.

I received the same message. I've received many scams. When it's an out of state # I'm immediately suspicious. If I can't meet them or who they're buying the product for I tell them that I would normally love to help them out but unless I've built a face to face relationship with them I can't fill the order.

I just received the same message from this number. This is the second scam I received regarding my Mary Kay business.

The firs one was from a Tricia Benard, stating she worked for the Ford Modeling Agency out of Chicago. Her information is: tricia_benards@yahoo.com
phone number of 773.420.9094.

I almost went through with until I received her check from a person in MI and the check was from another person out of GA.  The amount of the check was for $1800.00 and her total product order was $216.00. Needless to say I took the check to my bank to report the scam.

This is apparently a scam, but with a different phone number this time. Same name (Linda James), text, and email address (psm0012@hotmail.com) as other people have mentioned. Received a text on Thursday, November 21 from (619)659-7610 which stated "Hello am Linda I would love to order some MaryKay Products, Get back to me at (psm0012@hotmail.com) I will be waiting for you email so I can let you know what i need Asap!!"  Wish I would've googled it first instead of replying by email!!! Here is the email that "Linda" sent to me after I responded:

Thanks for getting back to me. I would love to Order some products through you and i will be so happy if you could be of help,i have tried ordering from some Local Consultants here I don't like the way People respond when they realize that i am deaf, i am new to this and i am Unable to pay through Credit Card.....All I want are listed below,

1. 5 pieces of Mary Kay® Simply Cotton® Eau de Toilette Sugar Scrub
2. 2 pieces of TimeWise® Replenishing Serum+C® 1.5 fl. oz.
3. 1 piece of Mary Kay® Lash Love? Mascara.28 oz Black.

Get back to me with the Total Price for all the above items in total, Please kindly let me know if there is a discount to it or not.

I hope this helps stop this person who is preying on Mary Kay Consultants. OBVIOUSLY A SCAM...Which I will be reporting to MK Corporate and other authorities!!!
