Do you have some info on this number?

I also got text messages about this guy wanting to buy my car from KSL. he wanted to mail me the money and have some movers come get it. who is so I looked at this number and found this page. really glad I did and stop myself from being scammed. he also use the name  Captain Joe Sarcone, which I thought was very odd.

Same thing here.  He identified himself as Captain Joe Sarcone and wanted to buy the car I had listed for sale on ksl.com.  My suspicions were raised by his poor grammer (really, it was nearly unintelligible) and his odd, unsolicited assurances that I would get my money.  A little google search on his phone number led me here.

thanks to god google his phone number he was trying to buy my car too... and that he was gonna by paypal, same he said his name was Captain Joe Sarcone...

Got call from this #/weirdo, Captain Joe Sarcone, in reply to an ad I had posted on ksl.com. I didn't reply and will block #.

Had this guy contact me this weekend about something I had posted on Craigslist.
Be aware he is still out there.

This person identifies himself as Skills Smith by e-mail. He is working Craigslist to get people to fall for him buying their product. He then sends a check for an amount much larger than the purchase price. You are then to wire the difference to a 3rd party. It is a complete scam.

Were you able to find out who this person is? We have also had some problems with this person. If you know anything that would be great.

I have text messages from this particular # and realize this person behind the # is a scammer.  Please do not fall for his/her claim that they are not able to make personal calls from that # for they supposingly are at work.
He/She has been trying to defraud me.
