i am tired of this number calling me at night during dinner hours.  whatever happened to sending mailed surveys

Received call on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 11:53am (EST)
Did not answer their call, and they did not leave a voice mail message.
When I tried to call them back, I received several different prompts, each of which sounded promising that it would lead me to a person where I could request that I be put on their do not call list.

But each promising prompt led me to the same final resting place: a voice-mail recording that said the message box was full and no further messages could be left.

From what I've read on similar posting boards, this is a company calling to do surveys. However, the message left on my voice mail sounded like the very faint voice of a woman talking to someone sitting next to her.

I just got a call from this number, I tried to call it back and could not get through. I hope it never calls again!

this number is registered on the Federal  Do Not Call List !!! Please stop calling.

This caller name shows unknown in Caller ID. They call many times and I have only pick up twice to answer. Each time they said they were taking a survey or market research.  They didn't seem to want to talk to me, they ask is there is a man of the house and would I put him on. I said yes, but he's not available. Then they ask me questions about him such as his age, race and if he had any credit card accounts. When asked about credit card accounts I told them that I would never give out private information to any strangers and especially to somone who would not identify themselves and I hung up.  I think this might be a debt collector posing as a survey firm.

we keep getting calles that dont answer back from this number you say hello once or twice and then you here a dile tone at diffrent hour of the day every day is very anoying and pissing us off cant stand prank calles or auto dilers what is happing to the world so in personal anymore

3/26/2011 - 3:05PM - Phoenix area - saw this number when my phone rang  - just picked up phone and hung back up.  Not the first time from this number.  No called ID - just San Diego, CA.

I just received the same type of call from this number. A male asked me to take a survey regarding restaurants in my area. I was going to do it, but he asked me my age, and I figured it was going to get to personal, so I told him I wasn't interested and hung up. I am on the Do Not Call List, but I continue to get unwanted phone calls!

We've been getting calls from this "California Call" number for several days here in Mo.  We don't answer and the machine picks up a moment of dead air.

Help i am getting calls from this number 3-5 times a day. I answer and they go into this research call. I say i do not want to answer their questions and he says "well let me talk to the man of the house who can answer my questions. I tell them to take my name off the call list and he says i must answer the questions or they will keep calling. I ask for an address to call and they say they dont have a number. They are calling me at 9:30 at night. How do i get rid of these callers. OMG

I understand that this is a telemarketner. I I'm on the do not call registry. Please stop these phone calls

He said he was doing a survey about radio stations. First question what is your age, not age range like they usually want.  I told him.  Then he wanted to know my race.  Then my religion!  I said they were too personal and that if he wanted to know about radio listening he could ask those questions he continued to ask about religion so I told him I wasn't completing the survey.

Just got a call from this number, at 8:22 am E.S.T.
If it is 8:22am here, and the number originated in San Diego, CA, it would be 5:22am there.
Okay, what is so important about market research they have to do it 24hrs a day?
I did not answer, as I work afternoon shift and normally sleep from 5-6 am til about 11am or 12pm.
When I tried to call the number back, all I got was alot of automated messages telling me all the mailboxes were full.  No humans

To those who bother to actually answer an a call from a number they don't recognize, STOP ANSWERING THESE CALLS.  More than likely these calls are made by low-wage, hourly workers, who need to keep calling or they will be fired.  If they produce, fine; if they don't, it doesn't matter.  NEVER CALL THEM BACK!
