I recieved a call from a man named Gary Davis, claiming that he is an attourny representing a debt I owed. He claimed I had a law suit pending against me and that I will be taken to court if I did not pay my debt or give them my debit card number to hold on file. I kept insisting that I would call the company to see what was going on and he said " good luck" and hung up.

it deff is a scam he got my boyfriend for 150 good for him but no matter what eles he tells us hes not getting sh*t out of us. the person we had to send it to come to find out because of facebook (its good for atleast something but i think its his wife or gf. the name he is now having people send the money to is Shusona Hart in NJ.....also he changes his number alot this is why its hard for the cops to catch him. if you recieve a call from him keep him on the phone for as long as you can and go straight to the police so they can try to track the number to find this guy

This John Mills has called me on my cell phone stating there is a law suit going to be filed
  against me. That the law will be at my door to arrest me, there will be court costs, and that
  there will be a chance that my disability check will be put on hold and my social security card
  well. He wants me to pay 150.00 by Western Union this Saturday and another 150 in two weeks.
 He said my debt is 450.00. When I asked the name of tge creditor, he would not give it to me.
 What is so suspicious is that when I call his number, there is never a secretary to answer, he is
 the one that answers the phone. What should I do? Should I contact my cell phone carrier?
 This is all new to me. Could someone please advise me as to what I should do.

I received the same call with a voice mail that there is a law suit filed against me..

i have been getting these calls saying i owe money for some pay day loan, which i  know nothing about. he says i will be arrested at work and be terminated from my employment. i have contacted my local police dept and my phone carrier for the calls to be traced .these people are a***oles and do not want to give you any info

SCAM.....He left a message with my wife to call him back and said his name is Atty John Davis and he has a lawsuit against me. When I called him back I told him I looked his number up online and and saw that there were lots of complaints about him and I told him not to call again. But, I'm sure he will though.

Just got the emails from this yahoo. and he called me saying that I owed $450 to cash advance usa. Almost had me convined, but then I told him I contacted my lawyer and wanted a certified letter sent USPS with an offical letter head. He said well then I would have to pay $15000 in court costs, and his legal team would have me arrested. I think I'll string this guy along just to mess with him. The part where he screwed up was asking for a western union, and refusing to send me that letter.

play along with them and when they tell you to send the money calmly say do i send it to go f*** your self or you can kiss my a**?

its a scam they try to get you to wire money to a third party person how they get the persons information idk but dont fall for it

National Affidavit Processing Division,  Gary Cole, John Mills, Various other aliases.

1.) Above "company" doesn't exist.
2.) Threatened to have me fired.  I said okay, I'll fire myself.  (I'm self employed.)
3.) Told me they'd be at my home shortly to arrest me.  I told them okay, I'll be waiting on the front porch for them, with my two buddies, Colt Fortee and Moose Burg.  I'm still waiting, and the Chief of Police here is also.
4.) Told me he'd get my Social Security Held, I laughed and told him go ahead, not like I'm going to ever see anything from it.
5.) Told me he'd get my wife fired.  I politely told him that if he even thought about contacting my wife I knew how to buy plane tickets to San Diego.  That I'd be happy to buy three, one for each of my aforesaid buddies.
6.) Told me that he'd get my bank savings and so on.  I wished him luck with that, my bank is Bank Of Wolfiedoodle.
7.) Told me he'd get my client list.  I offered him references.
8.) Got frustrated when I explained that no court in the country would allow 15K in damages against a sub 1,000.00 debt.  Also advised him that per federal regulations if he were gonna sue me he'd need an attorney in my state to do so.  I asked him the name of that firm.  He didn't have one.
9.) Got really mad when I told him that he was in violation of the FDCPA and FCRA, but couldn't tell me what either one of those were.
10.)  Hung up when I told him that if brains were dynamite he couldn't blow a BB around a golf ball, but it was fun talking to him.

John Mills said I was being sued and I told him he better stop calling because I know how to make him disappear and he said "oh yeah how are you going to do that"  I said like this and hung the phone up.  Havent been bothered since.

This is a common scam, ignore these call and do not provide him any information. And under no circumstances wire these dirtball any money!!!

i reciveda call from a john mills and i was sick from a stroke and could not take of this now and he asked for me to take of it but i cant threated me with court and i cant go

He is now John Mills and when i told him i was reporting him to the internet crimes division of the FBI, he said "Fine ill tell my legal team and they will be coming to arrest you!"

I received an email from Gary Cole threatening to take me to court.  I played into it long enough to get more information and then someone named John Mills emailed me saying I must pay $450 in two days to someone named John Algarin in Philadelphia.  I want these people to leave me alone.

I'm going thru this same crap. Good thing I was smart enough to look up info online about this because I was scared and really was about to send that a**hole my money!!!

I just got a call from a John Mills at my cell phone and like i didn't answer he call me at my job number. I will call the cops and filled a report. He tells me to check my email. That he is calling from national affidavit. That i have a lawsuit. They have all my information.

I got a call from this number, the guy said he was John Davis, he told me I had a lawsuit pending against my name. When I asked him what this lawsuit was concerning he told me to shut up and his legal team would be at my house in 30 minutes. Well that was on Friday (6/22/12) I'm still waiting for them to come get me!!!!!!

A debt collector will not email you unless you authorize such communication  As far as an email being a form of legal notification, NOT  it's too easy to get lost or missent  I get emails for other people all the time ( 1 or 2 a week)  that's two too many Thes morons are a scam and if you think otherwise  Then go ahead and deal with them  IT"S YOUR LOSS

What is this?  Why would a bill collector email and not call you?  Is this real or fake?

For the past 2 months I have been getting harasseing calls by this man named John Davis. This man claimed he was a lawyer and was sueing me due to a loan i didnt pay back and he was VERY rude! I never received a loan nor do I have any idea what he's talking about! Some how this man has all my personal information and i would like it to STOP! does anybody have any ideas on how to stop this harassment????

I returned a call to this John Davis. When he picked up, all he said was, "Hullo?". I informed him was my fiance's lawyer and he almost immediately hung up. When I tried calling him again, twice, it went to voicemail, which was full and could not accept any more messages.

I've been getting the same calls. When I called them, they said they'd have me arrested too. What has anyone been able to do about the jerks? This is harassment and threatening my job employment.

I am recieving calls from John Davis about a loan that I never recieved and they have a lawsuit against me if they dont pay them $450 dollars immediately.

Called him and he got mad once I advised him he is a known scammer.  He advised he was going to get me fired from SSDI...... what an idiot.
