same as above...still looking for a job text me at 6197976845. I also had an ad posted on craigslist. SCAM for sure! Noone inquires about your service initially by text!!!

I also posted an ad for tutoring and got an email saying "Are you still looking for job? text me back on my cell phone .......6197976845" glad I googled this, I wasn't going to do anything anyway it looked like a scam.

...but I keep getting Craigslist emails from this 6197976845 that read "Are you still looking for job? text me back on my cell phone .......6197976845"

Unprofessional any way you cut it.

I got the same email and it just looked fishy. Thanks for letting me know it's a scam.

After reading through the posts here and comparing it my experience, this is most definitely some kind of scam.

10/21/13: Received an email response to my Craigslist ad for employment in the legal field.    Email provided no name, no company name or other information.  Just a one line message.  "are you still looking for work? text me at..."

My boyfriend made a post on Craigslist about guitar lessons. We got both an email (shared account) and a text from this number saying they needed rates for 2 hours a day, 3 days a week for month and that they have a 14 year old daughter named Alecia. In the email sent from Craigslist, the same person claimed they had a son. It is also apparent that they don't know how to spell or word things correctly. It's really unsettling having my email and phone number in possession of creep in southern Cali. Probably going to report it to the cops.

I posted a tutoring ad  on Craiglist and keep on getting text messages  from this phone ( 619-797-6845). The last message was asking about my email, it says the respondent has a 14 year old daughter who needed  help in math for 2 hours a week  .I was asked to provide the rate for one month. When I gave the rate by text, he (she) answered saying  I should go check my email. Went to my email and found an advertising about Spider.
I call  this number  and everytime  got  a voice saying  something like  " Edwards".

I give guitar lessons, and every time I have my ad on craigslist I recieve and unwanted text from the same number 619-797-6845 asking me how much it would be for 2 hours per day 3 days per week for one month.  It is a scam.  I sent a message back saying, that doesn't work for me, and I only accept cash.  And they quit texting you.

I got this type of call only it was a text?  Not sure if it is a scam.   10/8/12 9:30am EST
