FYI, call was received around Noon.  I pressed #1 and was transfered to someone.  (It's a car warranty scam -- I don't own a car.)  I asked for the company name and place of business, and the woman who answered simply hung up.

Call came to my daughter's phone at 10:23 on 1/21/2009. She doesn't answer unknown callers, but there are a lot of these. Very annoying.

got a call on my Nextel at 10:23am today.  No idea who it is.....  I'm in Oregon.

I got a call from that number at 12:15Pm on Jan 21 today on my cell, I live in Maryland, who are these people??? I did not answer...

Got call few minutes ago--same as what has been previously reported. Msg said they only call business #'s and press 1 if you want your number removed. I pressed 1--msg repeated -- several times. Seems to be telemarketer buying blocks of numbers and using an automated dialer to call them at random. Probably no way to stop them.

called about car warranty n hung up when i told them to stop. call the num back n they don't pick up

Wife got voice mail, saying something like "This is the final warning about your warranty."  It's obviously some kind of scam - like someone hacking the "Do Not Call" list...

Answered the phone... hello... hello... HELLO!!!!  No answer.  Looking at all these other posts, it was probably just another failed attempt to sell the car warranty. Sometimes the recording just doesn't start, eh?

Called three times in 2 days I didnt answer, no messages were left. anyone know how we can stop this?

Answered and it was a recording regarding the factory warranty on my vehicle, I don't own a car so needless to say this is some kind of scam.

1:59 p.m. CST 15 Jan 09. I did not answer; they left no message. I too have been getting more and more of these calls starting late last year.

Just got a call at 11:57 PST. Nowadays, when I see an incoming call that I do not recognize, I go straight to Google. Sad, eh?

Just got a call from this number on cell didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Have had calls to home land line and cell phone from this number, no message. Calls at night 6:00pm  to 8:30pm.

Received voice mail on cell phone about a final warning that my automobile warranty is about to expire.  I know that this is bogus because my warranty expired a long time ago.  Moreover, I bought my cell phone after my car and do not give out the number.

I was talking to my husband today on our sprint phones at 12pm cst.  A recording cut in on his end of the phone saying we only call businesses. we have received your number by misstake. To have your number removed press 1.  He tried to hang up on the recording.  The recoding then interupted my line and saying the exact same thing. I pressed 1 and it said "thank you".  It didn't give me confirmation that my number had been removed or anything. I called Sprint they had no information on that number or why they would be calling.
