I've received several calls from NSBA 619-940-1416 [caller id] over the last two days but have not answered. I Googled the acronym NSBA and found several reports of scam allegedly perpetrated by the company. When I called the number this evening to follow up on why I was receiving calls from NSBA, I was connected to the following recorded [by female] message: "I'm sorry. No one is available to take your call now. Please call back later." The call then disconnected.
If you persistently receive calls from NSBA or any other telephone solicitor/marketer, then you should file complaints with your local Public Utility Commission, State Attorney General, and the FCC.

I let the call go to voicemail. At the end of the recording it said press 9 to be removed. I called the # back to see if I could remove my #; call picked up on the first ring but the line immediately went dead.

What a bunch of f*ck-tards. I pressed 0 to activate my membership. Some guy named Sayid said he would be happy to help me activate and get my $ 8,000 credit line. He asked me my first name and I said "STU". My last name was going to be "PID" but this guy kept asking for my first name repeatedly as if STU wasn't a first name.
I hung up on him. I guess there's no $ 8,000 for Duke.

Just rec'd a call but left no message. I don't answer any calls with unfamiliar #s. Pays to have a phone with call block. This will be blocked and the next time they call, I will hear only 1 ring and they get a busy signal.
Unfortuately, phone will only block 30 calls.

They have been calling here frequently. It's a recorded call wherein "John" is making my approved $8,000 credit card available with the touch of a key on the telephone pad. I have filed a complaint against them with the FCC. If you are interested in doing so also, the URL is: www.fcc.gov.

Obviously a phishing scam because in their website header, they spell Business as "Busines". Not very professional to say the least.

Keep calling & leaving no message. I am on the Do not call list. Reporting to FTC

Subsequent to my earlier post of 12/12/12, I Googled "the real" "National Small Business Association--they are in Washington, DC and are basically a legit lobbying group for small business, and asked me for telephone # of caller who is representing that they are the National Small Business Association. This, as you know, is illegal as h___l if telemarketer is indeed representing that they are the 'legit' National Small Business Assn.

It is not the National Small Business Association. It is the NATIONAL SMALL BUSINESS ALLIANCE

I got a call from this number to my work phone. They wanted me to activate the platinum card that my "small business" had applied for. I work at a hospital, so I'm not sure how or why they got my number as I definitely don't have a business credit card or work for a small business. When I stayed on the line to speak with a representative, someone answered "hello?" without identifying herself or her business. It seemed shady to me.

We're getting almost daily phone calls from this number. Caller ID says it's "NSBA." It's a taped message to inform that our $8K small business credit card is ready to be claimed. All we have to do is press the right key on the phone pad.
How do I stop these calls?
