Curious whether anything ever came of these calls. I'm still getting them; anyone else?

I've been getting calls from these criminals for three weeks now; they are very clever, but in many ways they are stupidly transparent. They have managed to get hold of some private background information on me and have told me at different points that they are a process server and some fictitious thing called the "state locator's office." They told me that a particular company plans to file a civil suit against me for "intent to defraud a financial institution". Their tone, front to back, is forceful and bullying and it does not take long for them to say that I can settle for a particular amount and that payment must be made (you guessed it) NOW. I have been in touch with a legal expert about this and asked others in different professions whether any of this can possibly be real. The answer is no, this is a complete and total scam. I too have had them get in touch with a family member before contacting me and have discussed why they are calling (completely illegal). They have intimated to me that a suit had been filed, when there has not been (completely illegal). They use a bullying tone, important-sounding legal verbiage, and expect to collect payment by phone with no representation of any debt whatsoever (oops, clumsy and obviously fake). Give them an earful and hang up.

Megan was the caller will a extremely rude tone saying a member in my family is under investigation but had no info and I tried calling the number back and no answer what a waste of time to who gets these calls and what low life's that make these calls! !

caller said they were pre trial services but when i asked what it was pertaining to they would not give me that information. Calls received as early as 6;30 am
