I also received a call on my cell phone from this number and have no idea how they got it. I do not know who called or why they called.

Called 3 times today within 30 minutes. I missed all the calls but still reported it to Do Not Call Complaints.

It may be a scam to get info from you. Got a call today from this number as well. No message was left. Coincidentally, got an email from Target stores this morning warning me that my email, name, phone number and bank information may have be hacked during the recent hacking of Target transactions in December 2013. Target said if I were to get an email or phone call from someone who says that they are my bank, don't give them any information. I'm not sure about those of you who do not have Bank of A as your bank but Bank of A is my bank and I did use my debit card at Target during that time.

Had a call from this number. No voice mail left.
Merry 2014-01-16 19:01:13 Unknown
It is a scam. They wanted to lower my interest rate on my Bank of America credit card that I owe $3500 on. I do not have a BOFA card with a balance of $3500. I asked her which account it was and she hung up on me! Middle Eastern accent. 1/16/14
Marg 2014-01-16 18:59:19 Unknown
I also got a call from this number. When I answered a woman said (recording) "your account is about to expire" and then I hung up. Hate robo calls
Lisa 2014-01-16 18:48:29 Unknown
Scammer pretending to be affiliated with credit card companies to offer lower interest rates. Sounded middle eastern. Got the feeling they would love to find out my account numbers. Hung up on me when I asked too many questions. Reported this number to my credit card Fraud department. You scumbags can't fool me!!

I just received call from Phoenix, AZ. My sister lives in Phoenix so I immediately picked up but line disconnected immediately.
I did free look up to find it's probably a scam.

This is totally bogus I work for a CC company and CCS is a TOTAL Scam they charge your card 800-1500$$ once they get your info. No CC company will call you and tell you they can lower your interest rates over the phone, law states this must be in writing . So no this is NOT LEGIT!!!

TOTALLY BOGUS. I have been getting "Rachel" from credit card service for years from different numbers of course. I am sick of them and don't know how they got my cell number. I've reported them numerous times on the do not call registry web page. grrrr. Make them GO AWAY!

11:00 a.m.PACIFIC TIME. Received a call.Did not answer. I have a mortgage with BofA. They left no message. B of A always leaves a message. I suffered identity theft with my debit card through B of A. Someone in Cali. was using my card the same time I used in Wa. and was denied the transaction. That made me ill and PARANOID. THAT CARD IS PART OF HISTORY NOW. I wish these lazy blanks would get a life. I work hard for my money. They should have to do the same and get a legal job or burn in hell.
d 2014-01-14 19:22:35 Unknown
got the same call.... but just tones and they hung up

The automated voice, identified herself as Heather but did not identify her company. She stated that my credit card was fine but that needed to inform me on how to lower my interest rates.
TriGuy 2014-01-14 19:04:00 Unknown
I got a call just now too. They claim they can lower your rate to a fixed rate and that the company is called "Credit Card Services" and will direct you to a scam website owned by "Urban Affairz Corporation".
Initially they will ask for the expiration date, to confirm you are the card holder, which seems reasonable. Then they ask what bank the card is from. All banks have unique identifiers - ie a Citibank Mastercard always starts with 5466 16 and then the rest of the ten digits are your unique card number. Thus they now have your expiration date and the first six digits of your card. Then they ask you to confirm the last twelve digits of the card. If you answer the question then you have just given them your entire card number.
DO NOT GIVE THESE SCAMMERS ANY INFORMATION. They are slick and if you aren't knowledgeable about how credit card numbers are organized, you can very easily give all your information to these people.
Someone needs to investigage these folks and pursue legal action. Hopefully someone at Citi will take this seriously. I'm calling them now.
The number they call from is 623-547-4713. A number from AZ.
