I have never had a Discover Card and received a call from this number at my parents place told them they had the wrong number.

Do not keep calling. When funds available I will contact you. You can't bleed blood from a turnip.

I receive three calls per day from this number. I do not have, nor have I ever had, a discover card. They even call on Sundays and late in the evening.

This company has been calling my number 10 times a day for weeks.  No message left.  My rule:  If I don't know you, I don't answer.  I finally got fed up with these morons calling, so I looked up the number on the internet and saw this page.  While I'm looking at it, they call again.  I answered this time.  "Is this Monica Johnson?"  I answer, "Do I sound like "Monica Johnson?" (I'm a dude).  I have never met a Monica Johnson in my life, so I said that and asked them never to call again.  "Ok, we'll update our records."  BTW, I haven't had a Discover Card in decades, so this was an incredible annoyance.  Message to today's businesses:  Just because I have a phone, it doesn't mean I want to talk to you.  I'll make a point never to sign-up for a Discover card.

Someone with a similar phone number as mine is in serious debt. I keep getting calls from collection agencies and credit card companies wanting payment. Good luck. I pay my debts but no one elses.

This # calls all day everyday. They never leave a message. I receive calls from 8am to 10pm. I answered when they 1st began to call. There was a recording stating that someone was using my SS# & to call another #. This is really annoying.

Its discover. And may I say its the biggest pain in my butt. starting at 4 minutes after 8 am they start calling. and then its every 15 minutes till about 10 pm.

They call 7 or 8 times a day early morning and late at night. Tired of it the call is not even for me.

They called me this morning at 8:00am.  I was at church.  They keep calling my cell even though I had asked them not to.  I thought collection calls could not start calling until after 9:00 AM.  What is with these people.  Very disrespectful.  My husband has cancer and also had surgery on his shoulder.  We are both on SS.  I hate these calls but cannot pay.  They know this I have told them in writing. #623-643-2440

I just got the call for the 1st time. I didn't answer because I didn't know who it was. I have never had a Discover card and never been late with a payment on what I do have. Go figure.

This number calls repeatedly everyday! I am trying to handle my father-in-law's affairs since he went into the nursing home almost 5 months ago. If this is Discover, then they have no business what so ever calling! They somehow tricked an 83 yr old man into approving auto pay so there is no chance of him missing a payment. He even made several double payments as he continued to write payment checks for about a year because he didn't know about the auto pay! He was continually overdrawn on his account because they would process both payments if the check arrived on or the day after his payment date. I have repeatedly asked them to stop even sending a registered letter! They money keeps coming out! The bank investigated and said the payment request and the name on the account match so they cannot do anything. This company is despicable in my eyes and should be ashamed for their practices!

discover card calls repeatedly 4/5 times a day and asks for someone not known, totally annoying

It is Discover?  Why do they keep asking for my SSN #?  They should already have it!

Harrassment wont work! How do you pay your monthly payment after your income has been cut in half! Choosing to make the credit card payment or paying a utility bill is no choice at all! Bankruptcy, hmmm an option worth looking into during a time of crisis!

Got a call frfom them this morning at 11:08 and as usual I didn't answer but this time they left a message claiming they were from Discover card and I needed to contact them immediately.I hdont have a Discover card nor have I ever applied for one.

Please STOP!  The constant calls are driving me crazy, up to 5 times a day.  This is so annoying.

I don't have a discover card but everyday I get two phone calls from them like clock work.  It is so annoying.

How would this number get my friends brand new phone number looking for me saying their discover but not solicting?  I am like 5 days late on my payment (job change) wth?  I've never given my friends number to anybody at Discover.

I had recently had to place my elderly father in a nursing home and he had an account with Discover card. I explained the situation to three diferent rep in the SAME DAY!! The first one had no clue and simply kept asking when they were going to get payment and wanted a number to call my father directly (even after I told them the nursing home takes his Social Security check and he has no other assets or savings), the second rep got argumentative when I told him they were breaking laws by calling me multiple times daily- I advised him law is three calls a week NOT per day!!, The third rep was more understanding and compassionate and stated they would stop calling. THEY HAVENT!!

call went to machine - left message - only said 'hello' and hung up.  I do not have a discover card and am not behind on any other cards I own - no clue what they want.  I am on DNC list - but apparently they don't care

I've had four calls this morning, it's Sat. and only 11:00 A.M.  Numerous calls in the past weeks, even on Sunday.  I do not have a Discover card, and am on the Do Not Call register.  What can I do?

Discover Card, they left a message trying to sell some services. They also keep calling. We need to upgrade our Do-Not-Call which I am registered for so it automatically dings them, no effort on my part! Thats technology of the future.

I just signed on with United Debt, a credit card consolidation company.  They said when the harassment calls start (from the collection agencies) that I am to tell them 1) (if they call at work) that I cannot take calls from work and I know the call is being recorded, as per FTC (Federal Trade Commission) rules, and that they are not allowed to call me there again after being requested not to [then record the exact date and time in case you need to report them to the FTC for calling again]; and 2) if they call my cell, say the same thing only that, once requested not to, they cannot call a cell because I have to pay for the minutes.  I don't have a landline, so she said then they just won't be able to get me any more.
