Do you have a Discover card. This is their customer service number. They are calling to notify of late payment. Take the call! Their service is great. I overlooked my payment by one day and they called, processed my payment over the phone and waived any late fees

This number calls my cell day or night. I have also received texts from this number saying it is Bank of the Cascades (not Discover) and that there is fraudulent activity on my account. I do NOT have an account with them. This is a SCAM.

Discover calls me on my cell phone literally dozens of times a day from this number.  I don't have an account with them, and never have.  Every time I answer, they ask for a woman I don't know.  I've had this number for over two years, and they only starting calling within the last few weeks.  Supposedly, the 'Lori' they are looking for lives in AZ.  My cell has a MA area code.  I've asked them to stop calling.  Hasn't worked so far.

Yeah they won't stop calling.  How do I get it to stop?!

I dont have a discover card, never did have one, probably never will have one, yet my caller ID shows 3 or more calls a day from this number, all hangups, never a message left. I wish these people would stop calling.

Keep calling my cell phone 3 times a day every day at the same time.  Very annoying.

Just got a call on my new cell number from this call and looked googled it.

Same thing - no one answered.

Received a call from them. I don't own them any cash.  I never have had a discover card. I have a visa. And I'm up to date on my financil issues.  Discover. Go fish on some body elses time

I have Discover card and I do get tons of calls from them because I am in the middle of financial situation.  But, they are calling my old number constantly because I get calls from my old roommates as well.  The reason you guys (who reported getting calls although you don't have Discovercard) are getting these calls is that someone had your number years ago and moved on and Discovercard keeps all these information.  If you tell them this is a wrong number, by law they must stop calling you.

This is Discover Financial. They are calling my cell phone looking for one of my family members. I asked them how they got my number and they said my family member gave it to them as their cell phone number. What a load of bu***hit! I told them to remove my number and stop calling me.

I just called them and find out someone used my number, just call them and tell them to remove your number. That;s all!

They need to stop calling ... I don't even have a Discover card.

It is Discover and they keep calling me about a credit card belonging to my father that he can no longer afford to pay on because he is now on disability after being in a serious accident. My dad is almost 60 and in bad shape and I have told Discover to leave him alone and I have sent them a Cease and Desist letter but they continue to call. I think that we should all sue Discover under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act becomes sometimes I am called 20 or more times a day and I am called before 9am, sometimes as early as 7:30am which is a clear violation of the FDCPA.

We kept getting a call so I called back to inquire.  We have two discover cards, one with a zero balance that I cancelled during the call;  one in good standing with autodraft payments.

Apparently, some woman gave our phone number to Discover who was not paying for her bill.  The customer service rep removed our phone number from this woman's account to keep the autodialer from calling every day including weekends.

I keep gettng calls 2x a day from this number and I do not even have a Discover Card! This number is definatly a harassing phone call

my family has four cell phones that get calls from this number 4 - 6 times a day.  It also happens with my house phone several times a day.  I don't have any credit cards so thought they were selling them but don't want my 15 year old offered anything like that.  Told my family to ignore all calls.

This number keeps calling me and I keep ignoring it.  They have called 3 times so far just this Sunday morning.  This is at least the 20th time they have called my cell number.

I HAVE RECIEVED THE SAME CALLS.  TODAY (7/12/09) - 4 CALLS ALREADY SINCE 9AM.  YESTERDAY WAS 4 ALSO..
ISNT THIS HARRASSMENT.. EVEN IF THEY ARE COLLECTORS.. THEY SHOULD HAVE SOME SORT OF RESPECT ...UGH.. I'M NOT FEELING WELL AND IF THEY CALL AGAIN.. I'M GOING TO LET THEM HAVE IT..

Just woke me up at 8 am on the 4th of July- happy friggen independence day- didn't answer cause I didn't recognize the number...my bad, I missed my payment cause I'm on va-ca and forgot to schedule it- but damn, can't they wait til a later hour on a sat am?

I don't even have a Discover Credit Card and they WILL NOT LEAVE ME ALONE!!! They have called me a total of 10 times IN THE PAST FEW DAYS!!!

The DNC cannot stop calls THAT YOU DO NOT BOTHER TO REPORT TO THEM www.donotcall.gov

Legitimate business that YOU DO NOT HAVE A BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP with are required to follow the DNC laws.  IF YOU DO NOT REPORT THEM - THE DNC CANNOT STOP THEM.  

If you have a business relationship with the business - YOU HAVE TO TELL THEM TO PUT YOU ON THEIR DO NOT CALL LIST.  They are required to do this when told to.  If they refuse to YOU HAVE TO REPORT THEM TO DNC

SO YOU HAVE SOMETHING'S TO DO TO STOP THIS BESIDES POST ON COMPLAINT BOARDS.

SCAMS - are not covered because CROOKS don't care. They are out to commit far worse crimes then violating DNC laws.

this is the 6 or 7th time this number has called me.  They left no messages.  My phone nu,ber is on the do not call list and has been for over a year.  How are these calls gatting throught?!!!!!

When they call say that persons # has been changed give them this # 1-888-870-7770 this is the Governors office in Mass.  We need law changes let the governors office get a taste of what it is like to be harassed.  Give this number to all creditors !!!!!
