I was contacted by Marsh Law Group on my child support case. I was about $35,000 behind on my child support because I had fell victim to the economy. They said they were going to have an attorney bring me back to court for an order to show cause of contempt of court, I did not want to risk ending up in jail. I paid them $3,500.00 and they prepared a stipulated order in which I can pay $200 a month on my arrears and my current support of $427. I thought that was better than the alternative. I started paying 3 months ago and so far so good. If you are contacted by any attorney about past due child support I would suggest trying to work with them rather than fight it.

Apparently Marsh Law Group does child support recovery also. I was behind on my child support for the past two years and they found my employer, I don't know how, but they sent over a court ordered garnishment and now my ex-wife is getting my money again. I told them that she didn't let me see my two girls but all they would say was visitation didn't matter and I still had to pay my support. They said they were also going to enforce liens because child support that was past due was a judgment.
