The guy told me I had won $120 free gas bcs I was a preferred customer, but I would have to pay for the shipping of a program to my address. Besides I was supposed to call customer service to cancel if I didn't want to keep some program that I hadn't even asked for anyway.When I refused, the guy on the other side got angry and hung up on me.The number was 12313372147.

Call many times leave nothing. Ad call I guess. But really bothersome.

This 626-207-9103 number calls me very early every morning back to back. I get other random numbers throughout the day. I answered the 626 number today and just started going off on the lady telling her to take me off the list. It sounded like there were a bunch of kids in the background shouting and clapping to some sort of Indian ritual. She said "do you know what this call is for?" I said I DON'T REALLY CARE!! Just asked to be taken off the list for the millionth time! All these calls started about two months ago after ordering a book off of an infomercial for my boyfriend.

First call was several days ago, a rude man asked for my husband and said he was calling about his VISA credit card.  When I told him he can talk to me (all our cards are jointly held anyway, and I'm the one that handles the bills), his comment was "So, what, you're husband's not allowed to talk or something?"  He hung up before I could finish my tirade.

Tonight, a person called claiming to be a man with a Hispanic name when they actually sounded like a Filipino woman and again asked for my husband.  A similar conversation ensued, and he/she claimed to be calling from Global Rewards to give us a VISA gift card for $50 as a reward for using one of our credit cards - all I had to do was verify my address and the last four digits of our card.  Ok - I am not that stupid!  I repeatedly asked to be taken off of their list, but the brave man/woman called back after I hung up on him/her and this time got my husband, who had been in the room during our first conversation.  I think he/she is sorry for insisting on speaking to him - he was much less forgiving than I was and threatened them with a harrassment suit if they called again.  Insistent and rude little scammers.

I have been receiving phone calls from this number and various others.  5-20 times a day.  The refuse to let me speak to a manager, and they say it has to do with a credit card purchase i made.  I am now starting to keep tabs on the calls from my cell phone account, a database of when they call, how many times i place myself on their "Do Not Call List" and every interaction.  When I build enough evidence, along with this website I plan to get a lawyer involved and use some connections to pursue this legally.  If anyone wants to join up with me, maybe we can get the people behind this caught.

The called me a few times, same woman, different called id number; Said she was based in FLA; told me i won a $50 gas card due to my wife's VISA usage. Said she needed to confirm my address; I refused since i was on this site reading posts at that exact time. I read her the information from here about the site and told her it was a scam.  I guess then then ghetto came out of her and she began "educate me" about how it wasn't a scam as i was introducing her to my dial tone.  I'm SURE they'll call again.

I just got the same call about the $120 gas card. The woman hardly spoke english and said it was for my mastercard ending in 418. I don't have a card with that number anywhere in it. Then she wanted to argue with me and tell me that I do. I think I would know. All I had to do was confirm my address. I told her NO WAY and to take my number off of their list. She wanted to argue with me. I finally hung up. How do you get these people to not call you? Will I get charged for this call?

Hey people I got the same offer of the 120 dollars in gas.  They peressured talked me into accepting the free trials I said no several times but they said I did not have to decide bla bla.  What do I do, im only a student and if they suck me dry of money ill be in trouble.

Told me that I had qualified for a $120 free gas gift card as a thank you from my visa card company, and that they needed to verify my address.  Each time I hung up on them. Call me daily 3 times a day, sometimes within 5 minutes apart.  Once they called me at 8 am on a Sunday.  I asked them to stop calling me, that they were harrassing me.  I also told them that I was calling my bank to verify the details of the deal and that I was going to report them to the Washington State Attorney General's office if it was a scam (which of course I knew it was).

what did they say to you? they called and had some info on me.  scary!

Recieved 4 calls in 2 hours. Aggravating.

Has anyone found a way to make these calls stop?

They call me today from 231-732-2960, and the guy hangs up!i think it's the same guy!

Ann, calling about a supposed warranty expiring soon on my vehicle. I do not own a vehicle. Ann is a recording. Ann has also called from this number: 1-818-870-5037, with the same recording. Calls occur 2-3 times per day. I've been in the same room with others who've received calls from the same number and recording, within minutes after I have, on both home and cell phones.

I just want to know how to make them stop.

1st call, I pressed 1 to speak to someone. He asked me what make and model of car I owned. I said, "Your message said my warranty was about to expire, so why don't you know what car you are calling about?" He hung up.

2nd call, when they asked me what make and year of car I told them I had a 2009 model with 500 miles on it. They hung up.

every single day 3 to 5 calls, cannot ever get a live person, same here, i do not need a car warranty, and they just keep calling and calling and calling

They keep calling all the time. sometimes they leave a message sometimes not. They called the other night within ten minutes after I have told them repeatedly not to call. I registered my number with www.donotcall.gov but they said it could take a while to get into the system.

I have spoken with these nuts,and told them over 9 calls to not call again, yet they continue to call.
What can be done?

Once again.. more calls from Ann at the warranty company. Apparently, If you request to be removed from the list, they simply begin calling from another number, Grr.
