6262079177 repeat calls from this number and all we hear is the same voice say "goodbye"

Any idea what this is?

got a call from this number and another CA number that just says "goodbye" when we pick up the phone

WE HAVE BEEN GETTING THIS CALL AFTER 9:00 AT NIGHT--ISNT THIS AGAINST THE LAW AND WHO DO I REPORT IT TO.

I got the call on the second ring, but when I answered it, all I got was a dial tone.

This number 626-207-9177 keeps calling, the recorded message states "dial 4 for an outside call"  I am sure it is a scam of some sort.

You can report this event to anyone you like, but it won't do any good. The government of the United States is all but defunct, unable to accomplish much of anything. The do not call list is a joke, as are most bureaucratic functions.

I answered the phone with our company greeting, and all I heard was an automated voice say, "GOODBYE".

I have received many calls from this number over several months. It is always a recording that says press #4, which I do not.

Same as Big Chicken - "Press 4 for an outgoing call."  Not the first time we've gotten this call.

This is likely an auto-dialer which is looking for numbers that get answered.  If you answer your phone, then "they" know they have a 'good' phone number.  "They" in turn will sell a list of 'good' phone numbers to telemarketing companies.  You just have to love American ingenuity.

Calls every few days.  Rings once or twice and then stops, regardless of if we pick up or not

Gave some command like I was on the computer.  Could not really understand what they we saying and then the connection was broken-off.

Same here.  1:37 pm, phone rang.  Voice said, "goodbye."  I too am on the no call list!

I said "hello" and an automated voice said "goodbye".  I am on Do Not Call List. (This was on 4/13)

Called on 1-31-2009 @ 3:48 pm did not leave a message.
