Him or a copycat strikes again in Oklahoma. Said he was with JV Positions, and that I had filled out a survey online that showed that I had interest in employment. The reason I believe this is just a copycat is that he was very persistent about me answering the questions right then when I mentioned that I was suspicious of him running a scam, and was going to attempt to pull up his website since I was already in front of a computer. He had good customer service knowledge and probably call center experience, as he was very polite and professional about it, but there was clearly some things out of place. He called from 405-445-4841.

I got the same call with the same response from the guy (I'm not qualified). I have been looking for a job, so I don't recall if I did or didn't fill something out...?

Sounds like a scam, creepy they do not answer any of the questions and hang up if you ask to much, same drill you answered an online survey, free service, bla bla bla bla, they called from (256) 669-4006

I just received a call from 615-696-7920 asking these same questions. He said he was from JV positions and when I asked him to hold on to look up the company he hung up after about 30 seconds. Most definitely phishing.

Just received call.  No VM.

Got a call, essentially the same message as others. Iconcluded that this was apparently a recording but made to sound like a real person. Immediately hung up.

Same story as others.  Survey....seeking employment.... I found there was actually no one really talking to me.  It was a recording because when I repeatedly tried to confirm that the caller's name was "Chris" as he claimed, the person ignored my request and the voice continued on ...

I had this experience today. WAS creepy!

Called me asking if I would like a job, he then started asking me for personal information.
DO NOT tell him any.
If you have filled out anything online, ask him if he can tell you your address. Because if you filled out anything important, you have had your address in that form anyway.

I just rec'd this call on my cell. I answered and was cut off.

I picked up the number and they hung up.  Did not year anything from them.

Did not say anything, just a machine saying "good bye" and then hung up.. creepy..

Got a call from a guy saying he was from a JV or JD or something muffled. I filled out a survey about job opportunities and wanted to see if I was qualified.. asked standard questions: are you over 18, affiliated with the military, a us citizen or legal resident, college education level, and whether I was currently enrolled in school. None of my answers should have "disqualified" me, but apparently one did. I thought it was sketchy since I hadn't applied to anywhere in the California area code but I still got this call. These other reports of scam-my behavior reinforces this idea. Thank goodness I didn't say anything TOO revealing.

I just received a call from (626) 213-2629 also (4/29/13). Same story, they claimed I filled out online information and that they were trying to verify. I told them they got the wrong number and they continued as if they did not hear me.

Clearly a phishing attempt.

I too just received a call from this phone number that shown from El Monte, ca on my phone.
BUT they hung up when they heard me say "hello" twice!!

just got a call from this number saying I filled a survey online via JDB? and wants to ask me some questions before i can receive their free service. When I asked him to confirm which company he called from, the guy hung up.

I received a call from 626-213-2629 and a man identified him as an employee of W N Positions and said that I was receiving a call because I indicated on an online survery (that I never filled out) that I was interested in job opportunities.  I repeatedly asked, "What survey?"  He hung up on me.  This is a SCAM!!!  Don't provide any personal information.

I just got a call and they told me the same thing. Wanted to know my birthdate (mm/dd/yr).  I refused and told them that it illegal to ask for my birth year.   I then asked where were they located and they hung up on me.

Same as others...phone call telling me I had recently filled out a form seeking employment and needed to ask me more questions to "see if I was qualified." Caller was obviously reading from as script. I had him repeat the name of the company and he said J V Positions. I hung up after the first question.

I got a call just now too. 4/24/2013, 1:42pm EST.
I missed it. No voice message left, no more call in.

Just called me right now and said I had filled out some information online that indicated I was interested in employment.  I said, you had called the wrong number then he hung up.

Caller said I had filled out some information online that indicated I was interested in employment.  He wanted to ask more questions.  I said, "No, thank you" and hung up.  Call was at approximately 3:30 PM (Pacific time) on April 20, 2013.
