I got a call from this sleazy telemarketer yesterday.  My caller id said it was Omega Group.  I got the same message about "THIS IS YOUR LAST CALL...WARRANTY..ETC".  They had an option to take you off their list or speak with a rep.  Unfortunately I didn't hit either option in time so it hung up.  But I think it's important when people get calls like this, if you've already wasted a minute getting interrupted for a sleazy telemarketer like Omega Group:  You really need to talk to the person instead of the automated option so it costs them money to take you off their list!  Ideally, pretend you're interested (but be careful of acting too eager).  Act like you're on the tipping point of getting convinced FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE.  When you can't stand it any longer, then, and only then, should you ask them to take you off their list.

I have been receiving calls on my home phone, cell phone, and recently at work.  They call themselves "Vehicle Warranty" and want to extend my warranty on a car I don't own.  The only thing I can determine is that I purchased a new automobile in Feb '08 and I got on some sort of list.  If you ask them any questions, they will hang up on you.  It's criminal to disturb people with bogus claims - the voicemail messages left on my home phone say "THIS IS YOUR LAST CALL REGARDING YOUR WARRANTY ON YOUR AUTOMOBILE WHICH IS SOON TO EXPIRE...".  My teenager heard the message and called me at work because she was concerned.  This is very upsetting.

Received call at 4:22pm today. This is really amusing to read this is about the warranty on my vehicle... I uh... don't own one.. So yeah. Scam.

Same a**holes keep calling. I have spoken with supervisors asking them to take my damn number off their list, and they send an acknolegement letter saying they won't call...but they still do. It's pissing me off!

am receiving calls from these stupid people  at least 4 times a day .. and i too dont have a vehicle that still has a warranty on it as it is over 10 years old..

getting annoying!!!   Especially when you're waiting for an important phone call. Really annoying.

Calling me every day on my cell phone leaving a pre-recorded message.  even though i got a pre-recorded message when i called back telling me it would remove me from the list

I'm so tired of getting these damn calls!  I even get them at work on the business phone!  It's rediculous when they call about 5 or 6 times, sometimes more, in a day.....EVERYDAY!

Persistent. Repetitive. Many different Area Codes and phone numbers from same group. A Government and/or legal agency should investigate, shut down, and prosecute promptly.

Same auto warranty expiration crap! I don't pick up.

I don't even own a car, so not sure why they think I need a warranty!!!!

I have been getting this call for over a year and i don't even own a new car my car is a 96 grand prix uh no warranty there. And now not only that but my mother and father and in law are starting to get these calls. It's very annoying. If you know of any way to block the number i would love to know what it is.

I would like it if they stop calling.  I don't have a car.

I got the same "Auto Warranty" information.  They call continuously on our office phones, all lines.  It seems that we get several of these calls, several times a day for about a week, all from different, random numbers.  I have also had this problem with my cell phone number, which very few people have.

regarding car warranty:
my god, are they determined.  i have received dozens of calls burning up my air time.  getting off they're list isn't easy either.  the weirdest part is if one tries to call them back, the call goes to a disconnected phone number.

I've received this call at least half a dozen times, including once yesterday and once today.  But each time it shows that it is from a different phone number, located in various states.  It always plays the same recorded message about automobile warranty expiration, but none of the numbers actually work when I try to call them back.
