DON'T ANSWER THIS CALL...IT IS A SCAM THEY ARE TRYING TO GET PEOPLE TO PAY ANYWHERE FROM 500-3800 DOLLARS IN LOANS THAT YOU NEVER RECEIVED.

I wanna get these guy's for fraud..ANY ONE have a plan on how to do this?

Hey everyone..... Go to Google and type in Adam & Lawrence Law Firm Scam.... This is a scam from Nigeria and has been going on since 1989? (i think)... Anyway, go Google this and read it. there are several pages on this SCAM! after i read it, i called  Brian Coleman (another name the foreign guy gave me... and told them what i was reading, and that i have 20 people that are filing charges against them. told them if they did not stop this scam... that we were all filing charges so far up there butt.... that they are going to wish they never started this stupid Scam!!!!!!

I have been getting these calls at work, on my cell, and at home. says i recieved a loan that i never recieved. i pulled up my bank acct while this John Smith was on the phone. only to make sure he was not deducting money from my acct by any chance. He said my loan was with U.S. Loans. (never heard of them). and that they wre filing fraud against my ssn # and Name. When i asked fo the name of his firm, he told me Adam&Lawrence, gave me phone # 626-587-8935. When i asked for the physical adress... he argued with me and outright refused. he too had my last 4 os ssn#, my entire email. i then told this John Smith that i am pressing charges for Telephone Harrassment and Fraud of a Law firm... I never recieved another call.

He called got my information never received the loan amount. WHAT DO I DO??

I agree with all of you. the male that answered the phone said his name was brian coleman and the guy they trasfer you to his name is brian logan. they called me saying that they were going to file a lawsuit against me because supposedly they transefered 475.00 into my accountfor a cash advance loan  towards the beginging of the yearThat i never got.  the problem with that is i didnt have a bank account at the begining of the year. they are trying to sue you for 3200 or more. and they wont give you a fax number its just that email of ALF1@lawyer.com. we need to get this crap stopped now.

I got a call from 626-587-8935 a guy with a name of Brian Coleman said that he was calling from a law firm and that there was a case against me and that I needed to get a lawyer because otherwise I will be arrested and he was going to notify my employer about this. He said I owed a total of $725.35 for a payday cash advance I took but I did not ever received this money in my bank account. I was terrified but now that I see that this happened to so many other people, I think this is just a scam. Does anyone know a number where I can call to report this?

if you didnt get a lone call them back. ask them for the number they deposited the money to. dont be afraid to get ugly. i kept calling them back and finally they said and i quote with an almost crying attitude "why do you keep calling" I think i will keep calling just to be an a**. we will see it they stop.

This person claiming to be an atterney thretning to black list my socail security number so that I cannot get my ssi benifits demands money up front before he will send any information on said loan when requested.

I have some info on this the guy wanted me to send him money western union and gave me an address that when i searched it didn't really make sense to me or my husband the phone numbers they called from are the same just different names.

This foreign guy calls and says that i have this lawsuit against me and that they are suing for some loan i allegedly received from some online payday loan place called Cash Advance.net. The thing is i never received any money of any kind from this place and when i asked them to send me a legal document about the lawsuit the who originally identified himself as Brian Coleman then became Michael Burg and wanted me to western union them a payment of 300.00 dollars to another name of Jack Williams. When i told him spoke to the county attorney in my hometown he told not use this number again and that he would make sure that i would lose my job. The funny thing about that is that when he called on saturday i bluntly told that i was 8.5 months pregnant on bed rest with no job at this time.

This foreign person called me yesterday said his name was Mike Powell. I pretended that the person he was calling about was gone (I wasn't), took his name and number and hung up. I got at least three more calls on my cell phone while at work, 2 of which the left a message and I saved those. Called again this morning and again I said the person he was wanting was not here. Then he started to berate me about not giving the message to Peggy(me) and kept calling me a him. He said he was from a law office. I have had several of these scams. They are different numbers but they read the same script. Contact your local attorney general that is what I do. Pretty soon they stop calling from one number and go to another.

I live in Vermont...wow! looks like they're trying this all over the U.S...unreal...well, I'll bookmark this page and share it with my State Attorney General's office...the more evidence we can collect against these worthless scammers, the better! start collecting info...names, emails, phone numbers anything we can use against them...I think that it was funny that the guy who I talked to the first time told me that anything I said would be used against me in a court of law BEFORE he even told me WHY he was calling in the first place! HA HA HA!!!

I'm rounding up info regarding this fraud...I received a call last week from a "ADAM Smith"...his number was from Elkridge MD Tel. # is: 410-834-2821 Email: alf1@lawyer.com...this morning I got a call from a so called financial department from a "Sam Matthews" from West Corvina CA Tel.# 626-587-8935...NO email on this one!  He told me I owed "their client" money and if I didn't pay it, it was going to go in court and I would also be arrested...What a joke! I said, go for it, arrest me if you dare, you SCAMMERS are NOT getting ONE PENNY out of me until I can confirm EVERYTHING first and its legit...I said you tell your client that I NEVER received ONE RED CENT from their client who's ACCUSING me of this...I told him that I will be calling the Attorney General's office in my state and the Consumer Protection Agency and said to have a nice day...
by the way, the 2 people with the very English names: ADAM SMITH and SAM MATTHEWS both spoke with very heavy accents! what a joke! If we band together, we may be able to bring a class action lawsuit for harassment against these frauds? just a thought...

Wendy... I am from Hawaii too... Now that I see you are in the same area I think we should both report this. Have you reported it to anyone yet? If so, who did you report it to? I would like to make sure the authorities know this is a reoccurring fraud call in our area. Please let me know.

Just received this call yesterday... Has anyone reported it to their local authorities? Says it is from a law firm, but the Caller ID just says West Covina CA. Going by the name of Samuel Harris.

Person or persons using this and various other numbers claiming to be a James White (also uses other various variations of name ie John White) with very thick foreign accent claims that person living at this number is (will list last 4 digits of social security number!) is being accused of theft by unauthorized taking, fraud, and other charges be his law firm. This is  a SCAM going around in attempt to get your personal information. One of the numbers this individual uses is an affiliation of capital one, which this company has no idea of how this is happening, most likely this individual has cloned cell phones that are untraceable. Please be aware and NEVER give any of your personal information out. They give you the security that he already has your information by giving out the last digits of your social security number but this doesn't mean he has enough access to use it.

Keeps calling. Foreign guy that I can not understand says he is john white. I owe money. Had the last 4 digits of my social. Threatening me to get a lawyer or the only other thing he can do is wish me good luck. I think there is another number associated with this person. 866-526-7795 comes up on my caller id and name is allied interstate.

This number called and said that there was a lawsuit against my social security number for a cash advance that i never received. Do not give them anything.  This is the second time that a scam has called my cell phone.  What ever you do never give your information over the phone even if you know it is a legit company that u have an account with.  Does any one know how to report this number to have them brought into court for scamming?

These foreign person called, said his name was John Smith and said i owed money. If i didnt pay it, i would be arrested. i told him to send me supporting documents regarding this debt and i hung up the phone. He called back and asked why i hung up and i said until i get a supporting document of the money owed, i will not talk to him. After telling him to stop calling, i got at least 7 phone calls back to back from the number. I pick up the phone and said " i am on the other line reporting this number". the gentleman didnt call back. but i got a call from another number 425-484-0102 that sounded like the same guy.
