Spoke to me in January and wanted them to call me back regarding a contractor project this month. No such conversation took place and these people are simply liars, crooks and scum calling from a spoofed phone number. They are preying on folks that are older with bad memories and ripping them off.

Called number back and got response that the number is "no longer in service"  Phone line pirating?

Called my personal cell asking for my husband.  There is no way they should have connected him with the number unless they are going through phone company records

Just got the call. If I don't recognize the number, I let it roll over
to answering machine. Seldom if ever does a info/selling scam
telemarketing group leave a message. And, of course, I was right
again and now join the many of you that got the call. I live in Pasadena.
Unbelievable how these groups are allowed to continue without
some sort of official response once they are found out.

Yes, but it takes time. The reason we suggest that people file complaints with DNC and FTC is that it establishes a pattern, making both more likely to go after these companies.

Says he talked with me last month about home improvement. I hear from them just about weekly and I tell them DNC and I report them. He hangs up before I'm finished. What gives with reporting to DNC list? Do they do anything?
