Just received a call from this number at 11 PM!!!, no noise, then dial tone.....glad I was still up!

I got a call from the number  626-915-5008 after 11pm last night (september 17 2012) I was in bed when I tried to call it back there was no answer.I am in New Brunswick Canada.

I got a call from this number at 10:55 pm ADT. I did not answer it because I did not recognize it. By the way, what dim witted company is it that calls when most sane people are just deciding to go to sleep. That is how I knew it must be a scam.

East coast of Canada....received this call at 10:25pm last night...of course didn't answer it.....seriously...this was first reported in May and now in Sept still happening after being reported to FCC? Now there's a useful government job!

Received call in Montreal, QC from 626-915-5008; looks like nusance caller is still around and expanding in territory!

East Coast of Canda - just got a call at 11:15pm Atlantic time and didn't answer as I did not recognize the area code- they didn't leave a voice mail message.

Phone rang tonight a few minutes ago at 10:20 p.m. local time on the east coast of Canada.

I never answer calls without a name on the caller ID.  They are usually telemarketers.  This number calls me often.

I have a list of telemarketer numbers that grows daily.  It's ridiculous.  

Thank goodness for caller ID.

Just received a call from 626-915-5008.  It was regarding weight loss.  I pressed (1) to talk to someone about giving them more info (so I could actually talk to a person), but nobody ever picked up!  They hung up on me.  Where do I report this?  I'm on the national "Do Not Call" list and I'm so tired of getting these kinds of phone calls.

Just received a call at 9:25am here in Moon Twp, PA (near Pittsburgh).  I don't answer if I don't recognize the number and actually hardly believe it's their number anyways since these ding-dongs can hijack/spoof phone numbers that come across your caller ID. FYI - John above mentioned someone hijacked his work phone number, geesh I feel bad for Gentech probably getting cranky calls back :(

Received a call at 8:53am from 626-915-5008. Caller ID said 'Gentech Compute'. Heard that it's illegal for telemarketers, or any business, to call before 9am. Phone number search showed it's a legitimate business in California.

John (May 15, 2012) has stated this is their company phone number and they're themselves the victim of robo-dialing caller ID spoof.  He says he's reported the matter to the FCC.  Now nearly 2 months have passed without any action by the enforcement authorities.  Shame on those who're supposed to protect us.

i live in moncton got call from this number and it s about weigth loss...i m on the do not call list in Canada...sure woul like to get the American numbers blocked out....

Just got a call from this number in Vancouver, British Columbia.  Didn't answer and they left no message.

they called me this morning , in Canada. I didn't answer.

I refused to answer a call from 626-915-5008. Surely the phone company(ies) supplying these type of callers with phone service should be held accountable. If severe action was to be taken against the callers it is very likely this type of calling would decreasce considerably. We receive 10 to 15 calls a week with no one responding when the phone is picked up or we get some recorded spiel. MAKE IT STOP please phone companies.

Victoria BC - have received 2 calls tonight from this number... didn't answer either call...

They keep hanging up when I answer, right after I got a call from GE security wanting me to be a tester. ID says gentech compute.. I would not be surprised if an employee of that company is using there lines to make these calls for fraud.

Yup, they called me at 7:00 at night.  I wish we could go back to the days like the 80 tys when these calls didn't really happen!  Terrible they can just hijack anyones phone number.

Just received a call from 629-916-5008, and it is a spoofed number.  The call was about weight loss...

I live in Vancouver, B.C.  I received a call, which woke me up around 7:45AM.  Grrrrr.... grrrr.
