This is LA Fitness, a guy named Jake.  I lost my debit card and the bank canceled it, therefore, my gym membership didn't go through.  Within 2 days, I received more than four phone calls from LA Fitness telling me that my card didn't go through.  Seriously?  They're viciously going after me for one month's dues.  Anyhow, this guy named Jake called.  He said that my card didn't go through and that he could waive my late fees as I gave him my debit card number and expiration date.  I told him I was going to call the local club to verify this information.  This guy then gave me all of my identifying information such as when I joined the gym, how many training sessions I have left--he clearly had my information.  He said, "You can only get your late fees waived IF I do this, if the International office does this, not your local gym."  I told him that I wasn't comfortable giving my card # and exp date over the phone and to someone whom I didn't call.  I told him to hold and called the local gym.  They told me that they would indeed waive the late fees.  I got back on the phone and told the guy that I was going to go to my local gym and give them the new information.  He was angry--saying that he had been on hold with me for more than ten minutes and that I just needed to give him my card information.  I told him NO...that I was going to go to my local gym.  He said, "Whatever" and hung up.  Ridiculous customer service.  I don't believe this guy at all.

LA Fitness says that someone referred me and I don't even know them.
