Same here I've gotten a couple of calls today on two different lines.  VOIP with VoicePulse

Got a call from Paetec this morning (04-08-09) at 4:29am. This is the second call in about three weeks. I just blocked this number so we'll see if we get anymore for it or another 630-x phone number. I am with Teleblend but it's good to see it's happening to other people too - in an unfortunate way of course.

Got one just like this at 11:30 this morning.  EDT.  I called John's number, left voicemail.

Just got another one 8 minutes ago.  This is ridiculous.  Yes, I'm a VoIP customer, no my number wasn't ported.

I've been getting called from this number all morning too. Same deal, VOIP customer, my number wasn't ported.

Have had two calls today on this number with the same caller ID.  IT rings twice and disconnects.  I am on VoicePulse VOIP.  I had one other similar call today from another number, labeled "Deerfield, IL".  Don't know if this is the same problem but the behavior was the same.  I do not normally get rogue calls such as these.

Yes, me too, from Deerfield.  Also with VoicePulse.  I'm going to call them.

i'm getting calls from this number too.  Doesn't really matter to me, because my software automatically intercepts the calls and spews random garbage at them.  Our phones never ring.  However, I thought I would log it here so others know that these people STILL have a serious problem with their software.

P.S. My provider is VoicePulse.

Same here, I'm also with VoicePulse, got the random call today from 6303397403...

they have called 4-5 times it rings 2xs then hangs up. tried calling back and no answer

Two call today so far. I just called voice pulse and reported it and will block the number on my phone.

Got one of these calls this morning at 0705. Same problem: 2 rings, then nothing. Caller ID says "Paetec." Am I about to receive the call cascade?

Been getting calls from this number as well. It is showing up as Paetec on our caller ID and rings twice...hangs-up. I have emailed John about this and hoping he is still working there, considering the earlier posts were back from 2008. We do have VoIP and our number was transported.

Same here getting calls from this number - shows PAETEC - I do have VOIP but not through a service. There is something not right going on here - I believe that they are using our services to make their own free calls overseas - much the same as use to happen with regular phones. I am reporting this problem and suspected fraud to the FCC.

Interestingly enough PAETEC was a VOIP provider at one time but has subsequently gone out of business. I believe even more strongly now that there is something fradulent and illegal going on with these calls.

This number is calling our home several times day and night... It is getting ridiculous.. We have a son in the Middle East so when the phone rings in the middle of the night your heart stops and then it is from these idoits who hang up before you can answer.   It is bad enough that I am receiving phone calls several times a day but now I am putting up with it at 10:30pm and later at night... Someone needs to be responsible and it needs to STOP IMMEDIATELY!!... If it continues I WILL start reporting them to every agency I can think of to get it to stop.

I just started receiving calls from PAETEC / 630.339.7403 this week - 3 in the last 12 hours.  I have the ooma basic service and cannot block this number.  If I get another call, I will also file a complaint with the FCC.

What a pain!!

By the way, I have never had a VOIP number until January this year and only with ooma.

Okay rechecking all scripts.  Sorry for the problem, this script must be accessing something very old.  

Bill if you can please give me a call, so that I can ask a couple of questions.  Mostly about your past VoIP carriers, that will help me find the script/file that needs to be nuked.

Paetec will also lose customers I have brought to them. What is the connection between Paetec and VoiceEclipse and why are they calling customers of OTHER companies providing VOIP service?

How was this database obtained? I have had service from 4 VOIP providers, and I still have 2 lines from different companies, but I have never had and NEVER WILL have any relationship with VoiceEclipse.

Got a call and before I could answer they hung up.  No voice mail.  Have no idea who the caller is.

Rings at 2am for me too. Did anyone actually figure out who it is? Is it because i didn't vote for OBAMA?

i doubt it, because i did vote for obama and they called me too.

2am call here too- and Im putting 2 & 2 together.  Anyone work for health related industry or have a spouse who does?

happened for me to - at 3:12 am,no idea who it is..., have recieved 3 total missed calls from it.... i voted for obama so dont think it's that

I would like to apologize for the calls people.  I don't think anyone here realized that our database of number were being dialed.  We have taken the faulty script out of action.  At one point or another each of you must have had a VoIP number, that was ported and the script was meant to test the number port.

Anyway to make a long story short, you should not be getting anymore calls at odd hours.  Once again sorry.

I got a call this morning at 4:00am.  This is the third call at that time.  I do have VOIP.

I have VOIP and the number shows on my caller ID as:
Caller ID: (630) 339-7403
Caller: PAETEC

When I check my call logs on Vonage this number does not show up.  Robin are you a vonage customer if you are check you logs.
