another unwanted call very annoying no message left

I have never advertised on craigslist, offer no services online, do not own a company, am not self-employed in any service industry, and am not a Verizon wireless customer so I have no idea how these people got my number. I'm sure they just got my number like every other scumbag does....they "bought" a call list from someone else!!! Caller ID showed "Vitelity, LLC", but they're just a VoIP provider....I'm in a snarky mood so I think I'll mess with them if they call again ;)

Verizon Wireless - needed to speak to the account holder regarding change to account.

I have been getting repeated calls from this number I either get air when I answer or reach someone neamed Matt.

yeah, I got ripped , they had all the signs of fraud. 3 web sites, different telephone numbers. Chalk it up... most likely pimps and dancers working in the day. they can't go to hell fast enough for me.

Yes the world would be a better place without people like them. But that's ok, because there's and all seeing and all knowing God that sees every thing. They thought they will always get away and never be found out. But they picked the wrong person to call today and try to scam. I am truly a woman of faith and God answers my prayers and He is always on time. This thing is about to crumble and their wickedness is going to return upon their own heads. When it happens everyone who was called will hear about it and then they'll know that there is a God and His name is Jesus, and He got all power. Alot of things God won't let mankind be able to do so He can demonstrate His power and glory. Sit back and watch God move!!!

Yeah it happens to the best of us sometimes. But God said vengeance belongs to Him and He will repay. I've cursed this scam thing this day in the name of Jesus, and God will move and bring it to nought. And when it happens, God will make sure all those that were scammed or almost scammed hear about it and then they'll know that there is a God and His name is Jesus. Man might not can track them down, but God can. Just sit back and watch. Ain't nothing getting past God. Just like there won't be any excuses on Judgement Day when we all stand before Him.

I am very sorry to hear that happened to your friend. they might not get their money back, but they can be rest assured that God sees everything. And God is going to move on behalf of His people this day, and make this thing unfold. And every person that's involved in it is going to have to  pay. God is not mocked, whatsoever a person sow he's going to have to reap. Prayer goes a  long way, and God don't like the ugly. Same Company Construction Crews but has a new number 512-661-1543 and they have the same pattern.  Call up and ask you to press 1 to talk to Brad.  Try to call the number back and you get some message taker who will give you no information.  They have called 5 times so far and have been unable to get back to them.  So, on investigation came across a number of scams with the same pattern.

Do you know for sure if this company is in California?  They took my friend for $99 and I am going to contact the attorney general in that state.  These losers need to be shut down.

Soulless c***$uckers preying on people who advertise on Craigslist.  Scamming $99 bucks for a "background check" for potential work that they have no intention of actually providing.  It appears that the current incarnation of their bull$hit website is constructioncrews.net.  

In a time when so many people are struggling to get by, developing an elaborate shell business to blatantly rip people off is unforgivable, and these scumbags making the phone calls and false claims need to reevaluate their lives and either get a real job or just kill themselves.  

On the off chance anyone "working" for this company should read this, please understand that the world would truly be a far better place without people like you in it.  You are a horrible person, and you should seriously consider suicide as your most viable option for helping mankind.

Just received a call from 630-477-0041 and it was the same deal, same conversation, etc. While I was on the phone with "Lola" I Googled them because I thought it was fishy that a $99 background check was required. The phone number that I received is 888-250-3667 ext 7022.
The company she said she worked for is "Construction Crews" and their website is www.constructioncrews.net. I asked for the company name of the background check and it is www.fedchecks.us.

We should all call back and try to flood their lines and waste their time. I told her I needed to get my credit card and I just put her on hold for over 10 minutes and went about my work....haha.
As soon as I started asking questions she just started repeating the info she already told me, which is a classic sign of a scam. Good luck and don't fall for it!

I must of drank to much sewer water in my day as I fell for the damn 99.00 scam.Waited for my job e-mail on Friday,like a fool and guess what.None of them fit in my scope of a C-36 license.Although I do have some leads that I'm going to fallow up on in morning to see how they became in contact w/these Professionals.

Got a call from 630-477-0040 about final cleaning of foreclosed property, and light handyman jobs. Background check is $99.00. Recorded male voice followed by a female's. She gave business name as Construction Crews; Website: www.constructioncrews.net
She said business is located in California, but jobs are available nationally.
As I was checking her business on the Web while still in conversation with her she eagerly asked for my e-mail address so that she could send me a link herself. I was relunctant of giving her my e-mail address.

I also received the call. I asked them to send me an email cantaining their website. I now have some documentation on email, as well as the phone call I recorded with my smartphone. I returned an email asking for 3 references of contractors that currently do business with their company.
I then filed a report with the BBB, FTC and FBI. I urge anyone else that gets this call to do the same.

I got a call from number 630-477-0040 a men he left a message saying they need my services so I called the number he called from and it said it was a non working number which sound weird to me. I the. Called te number he left for me to call so I did. The number he left for me to call was 315-218-0556 The lady talked as talked like a machine sounded very professional and said they pay 200 to 700 per job but in order for me to start I need to pay 99 dollars to have a background check first then it will take about 1-3 weeks for me to start any job! I said let me think about it as hang up. Yeah right a***oles I'm gonna give them 99 dollars! I'm not stupid but it makes me mad seeing these scammers asking for money first that rings a bell! Will go to bbb to report them. Be careful people!

Yea my poor friend next door got this letter as well.  It stated they worked with the major banks.  I happen to be a AVP at one that was listed.. SCAMMER

I didnot get any calls, but did receive an email stating a request for handyman or service pro basically stating the same as you all have said ,the number to call was 1 888 554 7412, when i called stella said she had over 6 months of work in my area, but i needed to pass a backround check that would cost $99  dollars . sure glad i read your statements. thanks alot!!!!!!!!

Got an E-mail and called to check it out, number I called was 1-888-554-7412. Spoke with Ashely who also asked me for $99 to run a background check with the bank. I got suspicious and Googled them, them being "Construction Crews Inc". Thanks to everyone who posted there issues, I just saved 99 bucks. She also gave me another number to call her back direct when I wanted to pay for my background check, 888-250-3763.

315 area code is where I live. I put a call in to the NYS police, filed a complaint with the BBB, the Do Not Call Registry, since its a recorded msg when they first call, and am eagerly awaiting the call back from the NYS Police. So glad I trusted that gut feeling. Sorry that some had fallen for it, I know what its like to be hungry. We'll get 'em!

yep, me too... same story. The thing that bothers me most is that number they use... 315-218-0556 is in my area code. Thinking of calling the state police. Already did a search with the BBB, they're not listed YET. So I submitted a profile so BBB can investigate the scammers.

hey have one of friend call tell her you got a call from constructioncrews.net when she goes threw the speal say no thanks then have your friend call back 20 min later and say they got a call from viotec construction then let her go threw the speal then ask her if she remimber you and give her your name and tell her you just talked to her. she will slam the phone down!!!!  lol lol    scamers suck!!
