Received two calls within 10 seconds on my cellphone.  First call was unidentified on my caller ID, with no voice from the caller.  The second call was from 630 668 9832, Wheaton, IL.  My phone is registered in Canada.  There was no voice on the line from the caller.  

This call is suspicious.

called several times, knowed our house owner name and he has got an indian accent en said he was from windows services.

This number called and gave my 12 year old son a really hard time. Asking him all sorts of questions. Wanted him to turn on the computer etc... He hung up, but was scared.

I receiver a call from some with a thick Indian acent saying that my computer was telling his computer that it was having a problem.  He said he was from Microsoft.  I told him that my computer was turned off.  He asked me to turn it on and so I did. He then tryied to give me some instructions on places to go on the computer.  Before starting, I asked him how was my computer connecting to his when it was out of the plug?   He asked again to turn on the computer and I told him that he was a fake and to get lost.  My caller I d identified the place of origin as Wheeton, Ill.  I went to chect the number out on the computer and found listed to a telemarketer in Wheaton, Ill.   I did not pay him him any money nor give any information.  Be aware of this  when you answer your phone.  Ask questions up front.

Received a call from this number several times  . saying he was from Microsoft .   had an accent asked me to turn on computer and follow his instructions .   I hung up another scam. this all started after I downloaded adobe flash player update , probably bogus site.

Got the call this morning and a heavy Indian accent guy about the problem of computer and hacker to my computer and convince me to get assess to my computer, I ask him to call me back and realize that the call is the thief call

I live in Holland and I had a call from this number. Only music in the background. I hung up

Eastern Indian type called and asked for me, by name, I told him I was not here anymore as he is dead. He asked me if I was the man of the house , I said no, he asked is this my number, I said no, asked if it was mine and I said no, I am dead, he kept on and asked me if I am the owner of this number, I said, not anymore, Im dead. This went on until he got angry with me and hung up.

I got a call from this number (630-668-9832) today.  A man with an Indian accent said he was from tech support and that I had an account with them. I asked who they were and he said A C E Tech Support and was I near my computer. I said I didn't know them and hung up. Later I got a very similar call from 630 893-9893.

Got a call from this number a little while ago and the heavy Pakistani accent made me cautious but someone claiming to be Allan Ash from Microsoft stated that the computer had been hacked and scared the hell out of my wife.  She was on the phone as I can't hear well on the phone.  If someone can help identify these people, I will help hide the bodies.

I got a call from this number at 8:30 am.  The caller identified himself (with Indian accent) that I was having difficulty with my computer.  He wanted me to load on to my computer so that he could adjust the problem. I refused his 'help' and asked him to call me back.

Received a call at 12:07 am, woke me up. No message just an electronic "goodbye"

Got a call this morning from this number claiming to be a windows computer person and that my computer was about to crash and they could fix it for me. Well my son fell for it, and he got on my computer and allowed them access. Then I was called for a credit card number. I told him to hang up and not answer again. Then the Indian guy called back saying that he changed our password and we were locked out until we called back, but he's not going to tell us anyway and said "bye bye muthaf****a". we ended up being able to restore to an earlier date and can now use the computer, but still have to check in to what else he got a hold of. DO NOT let these people call you anymore!! just DON'T answer!!

Got a call from some guy with accent (forgot his name) asking for the VP of our company.  Said he was from "IBM", caller ID shows Wheaton, Il.  Put the call straight through to VM, and pretty sure party hung up and did not leave message.

Hi folks :-) I live in Norway , Scandinavia and got a call at 14.00 hours to day on august 6 from a foreign female.....its a scam, no doubt :-)

Recieved a call this morning from this number. Didn't pick up. I am from Newfoundland.

No message, didn't pick up as my phone said the call came from Illinois and I like in the UK.

I got a call from that number claiming I was in a car accident with his colleague last year!  Also a thick Indian accent.

I received a call from 630-668-9832, but I did not answer. The caller did not leave a message.  I decided to perform a search on the number because I am tired of the flood of swindlers and scam thieves that flood my cell phone and e-mail on a daily basis. The opportunities for being scammed/cheated/swindled seem limitless. It is nearly impossible to avoid being swindled even when one follows precautionary measures. I am beginning to think the universities are offering degrees in "High Tech Theft and Scamology". I have even had swindlers file a lien on my home and attempt to take me to small claims court. I succeeded in negating the scam attempt, but the mental stress and waste of time is maddening. In another instance of attempting to protect myself from scamers and stalkers the scums used "the system" against me resulting in me being arrested and having to spend thousands of dollars on bail and attorney fees. Further, I am now on a police (city, county and state) watch list which has resulted in nearly indescribable misery. Whenever I go to an attorney or the "authorities" for assistance they will invariably have some kind of excuse for not assisting me. I have come to the conclusion that a person is better off having little money and no property.

i live in Maryland. I got a call from this number at 3 A.M. as I didn't know the number I answered in a thick gruff British accent. I heard movement on the other line then click they hung up I recieved two more calls within mins of eachother this number,  847-537-8793, and unbelievably the number 880-171-8525125

Got a call from this # in Illinois and I live in Georgia.  Totally different time zones.  I also got one at 6 a.m.. from  another Illinois #.   NO MESSAGES EITHER.   STOP CALLING I WILL NOT ANSWER.

I received a call today from Derek Smith with a very thick Indian accent.  He stated he was calling from Windows related to a virus my computer was sending out.  I asked for a return number to call him back and he gave 424-563-700.  I asked what country he was calling from and he stated USA/California.

Nov 14th 2012. Reporting i have a problem with my computer and that they work for Microsoft. Supposedly my computer was sending reports to them and that they were going to help. My RED FLAG!! went up and hung up. East Indian accent.
If there is a problem take it to your computer repair place!

they call using several different numbers.  sometimes the scam is that they have government grants waiting to be wired to your bank account, they just need your account number.  Currently they are pulling a microsoft virus scam on people, again, phishing for your info.  I told them the call was being monitored and traced that we know they use a proxy number and it's a scam.  And they hung up after calling me a liar.  Please report these fraud calls to the FCC, they need to know about them.

A man speaking English with a heavy Indian accent tried to gain access to my computer over the phone, saying that my computer was transmitting and receiving malware.  In the background I could hear the chatter of other telemarketers (never a good sign).  When I asked him who he was or what company he represented, he continued to ask me to access my computer and input instructions.  I pretended to follow his instructions to find out what he was up to.  

Of course, since he was just another grifter, I hung up.

Just called that number and was told it was disconnected.  Someone is making money from this scam and somehow I don't think it is "Peter".

"Peter" called me, too, about my computer.  Again.............   It's bad enough they think you are stupid enough to believe them, what makes me mad is where do they get the numbers to call from? I think the Government should look into that.

Not much point reporting it......nothing gets done anyway.

Just got a call from this number he identified himself as "peter" and said he was calling from "microsoft service center" and that my computer was sending error messages. I said really? That's odd, I don't have a computer.....He said yes you do because I have your IP address, I said really? Weird I don't own a computer and he kept persisting so I let him ramble on and he said it again that my computer was downloading viruses and I said really well what's my name then? He stumbled on that one, I said okay, if you do not take me off your list I am going to sue you for harrassment, and he said go ahead sue me, I told him this is a scam and I did my research the last time they called from a different number and he said if you think it's a scam hang up, so I did

Really? How stupid are people to believe that you would let them into your computer anyway? really? He had a really thick indian accent and I asked him to repeat his name and he told me a different name. Hmmmmm Oh yes it's a scam if they call me again i'm going to get mad

I got a call from this number at 1:29 pm today from a heavily accented man telling me that i have be awarded $7,800.00 from the federal government and that they wanted me to contact western union to collect my money but that i would have to pay them $250.00 to be able to get it. How crazy is that?
It has to be a total and complete scam..
