Called back (caller i.d.) rang for 1:50 and beeped.

Came up Illinois call 8:50pm on Sunday night, asked for me a couple of times and then hung up.  Lots of background noise.

Came up as 'Illinois'  Answered phone, but no one there.

Said hello, they hung up.  Could hear background noise - not automated.

630.825.6333 called at 8:50 a.m. and no message was left.  When I called back, no one answered.  I have been bothered with Fraternal Order of Police calls before, so is this another one?

received voice message from Queensland police stating they are looking for my daughter's car - stated she was driving on Pacific Highway at the gold coast on Sunday 6th April at 10.59 a.m.

Received a call this afternoon--they asked for my husband. I said he was
not here, they asked if I was "the wife" I said no, what was this about? Who is this? They said "Kevin, from the Po-lice. The Kane County police.
I thought it odd that the number didn't show up as a kc police dept. So I called my husband. He then called the St Charles police, reported it to make an official report; If/WHEN they call back they will be again
reported...obviously this is happening to too many people tooooo  often.

Said they were calling from the "Fraternal Order of Police".  My husband answered and said we were not interested.

is there any way to stop these idiots from bugging the living hell out of me?  I'm ready to get rid of my phone completely.

I don't think anyone's going to prison for calling your house.

They call at least 3 times a week. They ask for my wife, when I say she is busy or if I can take a message they hang up.
I have asked them to stop calling but they have not. I would press charges if I can find out who they are.

We also received the call...we filed a report with the police.  Luckily my friend is in the securities private sector and he can locate the origin of any phone number according to time spent.  He assured me that the next call should be timed in order for this software to trace the call.   I hope they go to prison as this is a federal offense.

A few days ago I took a call from a "police fraternal order" and the person who called was very rude, so I called the number back and left a message to remove my name and number from their calling list.  That number was 217-483-9596.  Today I received a phone call from 630-825-6333 and the caller, who asked for my husband, wouldn't state who he represented other than "Elgin" and said it was a courtesy call.  When I further pressed the nature of his call he just kept saying that it was a courtesy call.  I told him to remove the name and number from his list and not to call again.
