I have received many calls from seems to be Wells Fargo, while I am at work.
I received one tonight shortly before 9 PM. I am on the do not call list. Why are they allowed to call.
It seemed odd, first there was silence. I had to say hello several times, and male voice came on asking if this was Christine. Very annoyed I said yes, silence again, and a different sound male voice came on. He started telling me he was from Wells Fargo. I interrupted him and asked him: do you realize it is 9 PM. How rude. And I hung up.
I don't know what they want, but I think they should not be allowed to call.
I don't owe any money, so it can't be a debt collector.

I recieved a call from this number he asked for the person on the account.  I told him she was not home he asked when she would be home I told him he said thank you and bye-bye.  Who is he and why is he calling?

Received call from this number last night, caller ID said Wells P,,, he asked for my wife by her first name only, I said "who is calling, please" and he said nothing at all, so I repeated " who is calling",  still silence.....I said "tell me who you are and I may let you talk to her, otherwise hang up"....he hung up!

2 calls tonight.  Didn't answer either one.  Caller ID shows "Purchsh Wells F"

I received a call from this number with a caller ID "Purchase Wells Fargo" ----- then later I received another call from Wells Fargo -3128789738 ==== what is going on?????

I keep receiving calls from this person says his name is Jeffery Daniels and that he's from Wells Fargo & keep asking for my Husband says that he can't talk with me because I'm not on the acct.  I'm very annoyed & irked but since I've talked to the bank I have something in store for the next phone call.

Please keep records of your calls, and investigate dates on which you have signed up for certain products or services. The information the marketing firm is provided with is

1.Your Name
2.The Company you have done business with that is submitting the information to the marketing firm (In my case SF Weekly, used for advertising a newly registered business, MANDATORY by law)
3.And your banking institution (known once you make any payment to the information that sends the marketing firm your information)

Trace when you made your inquiries about insurance, business, a product or what ever it may be (check your bank statements if you have no other records) and try to trace when you first began receiving calls from the marketing firm.

Most likely, you would have signed up for a new service or done a business transaction related to what CTP North America contacts you about at least 1 - 1.5 moths before the calls begin.

If CTP America contacts you about Life Insurance, you may have done a transaction closely related to that industry about 2 months before receiving those calls. You must focus your energy on going after companies that sell information to marketing firms without customer approval and/or knowledge.

If you have recently done business with SF Weekly or within the last 10 months and have started recieving phone calls from CTP North America, or from persons posing as Wells Fargo or any other banking institution, please indicate so on this forum

It is my firm belief after recounting and recording event dates, that SF Weekly is involved with selling customer information to marketing firms. I am preparing to have an investigation launched to look into alleged unethical business practices conduced by SF Weekly, and would like to know whether others have been effected.

just got a call asking for my husband but would not even tell me his name or number so i could give him a message, just kept repeating the same message with every response i gave him????  very odd-- why wouldnt they leave a name and number

The guy called from Wells Fargo and managed to get my email and street address. I didn't give anything else, but research has shown the call was fraudulant and I'm worried. What could he want with that information?

This person called to say that he was with Wells Fargo & wanted personal information. I do not bank with Wells Fargo.

The guy calling said he was with Wells Fargo. It was an attempt to get personal information. I don't even bank with Wells Fargo anymore!! I knew it was a fraudulent call

call me today, didnt leave a message
