Calls multiple times daily, no one on line, all times...day and. Ight

This number (community call) calls my house all time of day several times a day. I have a private number and some crazy reason I get dumb phone calls like this. cant put them on the do not call list that is uesless they never do anything about annoying calls.

I get -3 or 4 calls a day from this number.It's very annoying .Have tried to answer but just get silence.

I have received calls from this number numerous times and never is a message left.  I do not answer calls from numbers I do not know.  this is very annoying.  Wish it would stop.

Hello Everyone, I too get these stupid caller marking phone games, and it really "SUCKS-A**' now hear is some data that just might help you ALL... So Listen_UP!!  Like I said before I, too get these
uckers calling me too, but not nearley as much as I use to or what your getting!!   I know some things about technology and engineering, I study it .. Hear's what you do to help curcomevent some of these calls, If you have access to a Fax-Machine, these systems will automatically display the phone number for in case you don't have any caller ID aviable. What you do is have your Fax system activated, and when that Damm Tela-Marker calls in as usual, "You set the Fax-Machine to Automatically Answer at the Third-Ring" (Or when-ever you perfur to) and here's something most people don't know when these Tela-Market Callers call into your phone and no one answers for the first few minutes, is because these callers are computers determing if this is a "VALIDATE-LINE" and that's where your Fax-Machine comes in !! when there Automated System hears those digital-tones, there system will automattaly FLAG-THIS-LINE !! as a "Non Valid-LINE" or a "Non-Valid-Phone-Number" and chances are there computer main frame will delete you number, trust me on this it works (About 7 out of 10 ) ... And if you can't get accsess to a fax machine, then this other Idea of mine will also just like the Fax-System did.. Here's What YOU-DO,,, Have you ever called a WORNG-NUMBER, in your life time and recived these series of Digital-Tones, it auto-tells you-->
"Were Sorry, But The Number You've Called Is No Longer In Service, Please Check You Number- & Bal-Bal Bal Again"  I know, I must have herd that at least 200-Times in my Life, well here's what you do,,? Go out to Wal-Mart or any store and buy your self a very-cheap tape-recorder, and make one of those "Wrong-Numbers" again, except this time " Your Going To Record only a Few Seconds of JUST THOSE DIGITAL TONES--ONLY, NOTHING ELSE" just record those few seconds of those sounds.. And make sure when you record those wrong number tones that you get an all-most perfect sound of those tones, it may take you a few times to get it RIGHT !! Because when the next time you get a Tela-Markter Automated Call In your home, you must time this just right, when you pick-up your phone and you dont hear nothing, You Must Play That Recording you made over the phone into there Computer-System's Main Fram, and once it recives these "Worng-Number Tones Back Into It's system" it will also "RED-FLAG-THIS NUMBER" (Meanning-> Your Number), and basically its system will also DELET YOU PHONE NUMBER, from it hard-drive.. The caller id on our phone for this number is Community Call. Same as everyone else: no one is ever there. We have a telezapper hooked up to our phone system. If a call is computer generated it sends a signal to the computer telling it our number is disconnected. The computer then deletes our number from its calling list. It works pretty good, but only if the call is computer generated. Since it doesn't work on this number the call may not be computer generated, or else they have found a way to get around telezapper technology. It's interesting to me that the call generates from the Naperville, IL area because that is where our son and his family live. I have put business cards in those glass jars on our road trips there and while staying there (restaurants, etc.) That may be where they got my number. However, my cell number is on the card, too, and I have never received a call on my cell. My advice: ignore it. Put up with the annoyance without answering your phone for awhile. My experience when I do this is that eventually they stop calling.

630-869-5640 called today, I picked up and waited for 2 minutes, nobody, then I got a busy signal. BUNCH ON CRIMINALS. They should be reported to the FBI. Needless to say, we are on a donotcall.gov,
and by the way, the number says COMMUNITY CALL, not what others said, public service.

I have 6 calls to this number that no onw in this house has made charged to my phone bill.

Block this  number from my phone.

We keep getting calls from this number, no one there when we try to call back..its a little creepy to say the least.

Someone at this number called my 85 year old father's cell phone repeatedly and talked about selling pain pills.  My Dad even had my sister tell him to stop and he continues to call daily.

Like every one else, we get these calls several times a day, no answer!! There must be a way of reporting this.

I have gotten 2 calls from this number also. Nobody on the other end. Waste of my time!

I just got another call from this number. I ask the lady why I was getting so many calls and no one was on the other end? She stated that they where having problems with this system... hmm...
So, I let her continue and it is someone trying to collect money for the Brest Cancer Foundation..  Not sure if I believe any of this...  But I ask to be taken off the list, not sure if it will happen , but it was worth a try..

I am so tired of receiving these annoying phones.  Please stop calling... or at the very least SAY SOMETHING so I know what you are calling for and we can eradicate the situation.

I can only store 30 calls to my calls to be blocked list using my Panasonic wireless phone system.  I roll off on blocked numbers from the end of my list so that more recently added numbers to be blocked stay longer.  This is one I just added to my list as calls from this number are becoming a big nuisance.  Next time I buy a wireless phone for my landline, I'll be going with a brand other than Panasonic since the Panasonics ring once on blocked calls.  Some other brands just block without a single nuisance ring.  Caller ID is worth the extra expense.

several calls , never anyone there..... automated system gone bad????

Have called 7 times in the last 3 days.  Caller ID reads:  PUBLIC SERVICE.  THey never leave a message, nor do I pick up on scammers.

Calls constantly but no one is there when I pick up. Got a real person once and asked them to please stop calling my house. Did no good...still call several times throughout the day!

SAME GARBAGE SEVERAL CALLS PER DAY, PUBLIC SVC. CALL BACK RINGS ABOUT TEN TIMES THEN A GIRL SAYS LEAVE A MESSAGE WILL CALL BACK. THAT'S ALL I NEED, ANOTHER CALL!!!!!

It's insane, I've been receiving tons of calls from this number, but life everyone has said no one is there when I answer. What the hell is up with that??
