I don' have MetLife Home Loan.
DTD 2012-12-12 20:18:06 Unknown
phone operator (Wyane) REFUSED to tell me what company they were representing. they're on call block now. Loosers should know to answer the person's questions before demanding anything

I keep getting calls from this number every morning - I don't answer and there is never a complete voicemail message. So I don't know who it is. If it is MetLife, there is no reason they should call me since I've never done any business with them. I just blocked the number.

Metlife is an annoying lender. Do not do business with them. If you're a day late, but within the grace period of your loan, they start calling. Just block the number like I did.

This number called our office, it is obviously a scam because none of the few employees here would have given the work number out for a personal matter. They are just fishing for numbers.
Eric 2012-07-25 01:10:49 Unknown
Calls everyday and night at odd hours. Talked to them over 5 times, they said they would remove my number, but did not!
Have to change my number now.

I am the one calling all of yous!
Delilah 2012-04-06 21:31:05 Unknown
keep pushing the numbers and hitting the # and * and more numbers. It took about 5 mins of me doing this and I got a customer relations person and had them remove my number off there call list. It's a new number to me with someones baggage.

Metlife home loans. Unfortunately, if you're reading this thread, you've probably done business with them. Try to avoid that in the future. They're smarmy collections agents, even if you're just a couple of days late. Plus, their mothers don't love them. When I want career advice from a $10/hr telephone collections agent, then I won't be making any mortgage payments.

Again ... this is BULLS#!T!
This is the 4th of the month and my payment wa sent on the 30th.
Talk about some real A$$WIPES!!!!
After waiting 20 minutes I get a moron on the phone who wastes 5 minutes verifying my identity. Then after asking him about 10 times why he called, ... he says to remind me to make my payment.
I hit the roof and told the dumb SOB to look at my 19 year payment history and he will see I have never incurred a late charge, and my payments have always posted by the 5th of the month. Then the moron tells me it's a new "investor requirement" that they call if the payment is not received by the 1st of the month.
I then told the dumb A$$WIPE I'm not as dumb as he is, in fact I'm a CPA, ... and there are no "investor requirements" that they call customers if their pmts aren't received by the 1st of the month.
At that point I began cussing at the dummy and said at least I know to ignore the call now.
This really sucks!
ojo 2011-10-04 16:38:24 Event Reminder
It was a legit "courtesy reminder" from MetLife Home Loans reminding me that they had not received my payment by the 1st of the month. They said the loan is not late until the "past due" date on the statement (usually the 16th), but that reminder calls do go out just a few days after the first of the month.

whose number is it?
Don 2011-06-06 21:05:51 Unknown
The company is Metlife Home Loans or First Horizen Loans. Their number to access an operator is 800-707-0139.
LaraJill 2011-06-06 21:05:51 Unknown
It's Metlife Home Loans. They are calling because they want you to pay for your house payment.
jason 2011-06-06 21:05:51 Unknown
Make sure that your home loan has not been sold to them. I thought at first this was a scam until i checked my home loan and found out they now hold it and my automatic payments were not being made. I agree that the way they contact you sounds shady, its worth checking out, especially if they leave a letter on your door.
Jennifer 2011-05-23 19:14:26 Unknown
I have a MetLife mortgage and this number placed a legit call to me. It is their customer care number.

MetLife - Mortgage not paid. Wife blew the money on male prostitutes and liquor when I was out of town.
David Van 2011-03-30 18:03:16 Unknown
this is a robo call that comes everyday serveral times a day. This has been going on for 3 months at least. The Caller ID is Toll Free and they give you 888-638-6969 to call. you can not talk to person and they want your ss number. right
Beth 2011-01-25 16:01:35 Unknown
I'm getting calls from this co. and I DON'T HAVE AN ACCOUNT HERE! Can anyone help me get my name removed? It does not allow you to talk to a live person. I'm not about to enter my SSN to an unknown voice unit. I don't have time during business hours for this.
thootz 2010-12-23 20:24:24 Unknown
A person stopped by our house, took a picture, and left a sign on the door to call 888-638-6964. We have no interest in discussing anything with this service.

I too have received number of annoying calls asking me to call MetLife at this number. I do not have a loan with MetLife. When calling this number, it asks for my loan number (which I don't have) or for social security number (which I do not give out!) I looked into this number (called First Horizon Bank, which deals with MetLife over its loan). Conclusions: (1) it is a genuine MetLife number, BUT (2) Their system seems to have an error -- Best is to ignore them (unless you really do have a loan with MetLife.)
