Got a call from this number at 4:00 A.M.!!!! Needless to say, we did not answer, and they left no message.

I got a call from this number this morning telling me is regarding a loan that I have taken out. The funny thing is I don't have any loan neither have I ever taken out one in my entire life. How and where  they got  my name and my number I just don't know.

Received call this morning, from this number, claiming she was Windows Tech, etc.  Also received three calls yesterday from the following numbers:  661-748-0240, 389-849-1000, and 630-933-9463.  Tried to call back to two of the numbers, but got disconnect info.  Yesterday, while listening to the spiel, I managed to research the phrase one of them directed me to type into my computer and found out that it was a huge scam.  When I told them that, of course they hung up.  I started the conversation with that same info this morning, as soon as she told me she was from Windows.  She also hung up.  How can we stop this???  Not answering any more "Unavailable" calls.

I answered the call, no one spoke, and then got a recorded "Good bye"

Caller claims he is from windows tech support in London.  Adam Maxwell, heavy Indian accent.  Be careful everyone.

Got a weird call from 630 924 9152, don't know how it's a scam but it seemed odd someone from the united states calling me in canada saying I hit his car and my number was on the paper on his windshield, when I tried to tell him he had the wrong number he wouldn't listen and when I asked what number he tried to call he wouldn't say so I hung up, thought to let people know of this in cause it is a scam somehow

In UK, not expecting call from Illinois so let it ring out. No message left and googled number like a lot of others and find the number on here reporting to be a scam. I bet there's loads of this going on after end of support for Windows XP this last week or so.

I live in the UK. I answered it and no one spoke. The freaky thing is just yesterday my laptop broke...

I got a call yesterday from a guy with an Indian/Pakistani accent claiming to be from a Windows company and that my computer was causing problems on the internet. As soon as I said I was onto him and that he could go hack someone else, he hung up. BEWARE

Got a call from 630-924-9152. An AUTOMATED Heavily accented Indian dude saying his name was Kevin- not Babu not Singh not Turbanhead, but KEVIN!! and says he wants to talk to our lawyer or face consequences.  Gave another # to call back 250-800-0381.  Thanks to this website I won't waste my time of my $200/hr lawyer who specializes in First Degree Murder & Divorce cases only.

Called tonight but I knew it was a scam as I'm in IT. I told the guy to @&)( off and he hung up on me. It felt good to scream at him!

His Indonesian was so thick I could barely make out that he was trying to pose as a Microsoft employee. I told him I fix computers for a living and suggested he get a real job as well.

Received call didn't recognize number. Didn't answer it. Called it right back...disconnected.  seriously??? Obviously a scammer.  It really stinks that so many use the internet to do harm to others. They should bottle all that smart and put it to good use.

The same happened to me. I wasn't with my cellphone by the time they called me and as I don't have any friends or relatives living in Illinois, I decided to Google the number and end up here...It seems they won't give up!

Called reporting that my windows computer had a virus and that they needed me to go my computer.

i recieved call frm this number few days back but no one was speaking and when i called up again it says that this number got disconnected

I got a call today (I am in Holland), did not trust it so let it ring.
Googeling the number made me end up here.They are very active the last few weeks.

The Perv from this number wanted my name and for me to tell him "i loved him" fro REALS?? Says he is a Microsoft tech but i couldn't speak to his superviser... he loves me do I love him?? Please tell me... told dud he was SERIOUSLY mental and needed professional help

Really getting annoyed with the area code 630 calls! The latest one was from 630-924-9152..never anyone at the other end! Next time it'll be a whistle that answers!!!

Caller ID stated call from "Roselle IL". A guy with a heavy Indian accent asked me how I was doing and then went right into that he is calling from a service center for Windows, that he can see that my computer is downloading numerous infected files, and that he is going to help me. I told him several times that I don't have any computer problems, asked who he was trying to reach, who he was, and asking him to tell me the name of the place he is calling from. He didn't respond to any of my questions/objections, but he repeatedly and very sternly put me in my place that he is only trying to help me and that I should be happy about this "service call." He was very rude and I simply hung up. Tried calling back a minute later because I wanted to give him a piece of my mind and the number was disconnected.
Whatever he was trying to sell me, it's a total scam built on bullying people and intimidating them.

I also just got a phone call from a man with an indian accent. He said he was calling from Micro - Soft and it was about my computer. I hung up.

I just received a call yesterday from this phone number. It was very disturbing. A man with an indian accent told me he was from Australia and wants to be my friend he continued to tell me how he is in love with me. When I asked who the hell he was and how did he get my phone number he told me that he was looking at my facebook profile and that's how he got my number. My number or any of my other private information is not on my profile.I was frightened and hung up. Today I saw the same number on my caller display when I had returned home.

Does anybody know how to put an end to these phone calls ?

I got a call form this number yesterday.  The woman who called, who had an accent, kept telling me that my computer had just sent them a message saying that someone was trying to hack into it.  I asked what company she was calling from, she told me V60, I told her that I had never heard of them, and didn't know what they did.  I then asked her how she got the information that there was a problem with my computer, she told me that my IP address showed up on their computer, when I asked how she got my number, she told me that they contacted my server.  I told her that it was b***s*** and that if there was problem with my computer, my server would contact me themselves and send out a technician.  She heaved a big sigh and said that she was only trying to help me, I told her that the only person she was trying to help, was herself to my computer, I told her to listen very carefully if she wanted my answer to her help, and then I hung up on her.

THEY EVERYDAY CALL ME AND I AM REALLY BORED OF THIS CALLS AND DON'T KNOW HOW TO BLOCK

Caller with thick middle eastern accent asked to speak to a member of my household and said that he had information about her computer being infected with a virus. He claimed that he could fix it for her. He asked her to go to the website www.pronerds and that she could call him back at 888-666-7552. Caller id showed the name as McDonald's and the number 845-469-9827. Definitely a scam.

I received a call from this number and from 707-822-9870, witch are both disconnected, from peoples saying there from Microsoft to help me clean up my computer. Of course it is a fraud and I figured it after accepting to pay them 129,99$ US but I was able to save my computer by cutting off Internet.

harckers have access to your computer.. they wanted to prove it by showing a windows screen..Im a tect here in salisbury new brunswick and right away knew that microsoft do not make phone calls. " but sir.. we can prove it to you..just type this number in , in your address bar"... i hung up..

Don't know anyone in Illinois who would call on my cell-phone in their evening so ignored call.  Thanks for identifying the caller...and the line (or is that lyin'?) about not having a computer--priceless!  A technique that works with auto-surveys is just do nothing or enter unacceptable responses to the questions.
