Calls everyday

Somebody calls asking to confirme personal info, such as day of birth. I ask who was calling and how they got my info. They only said It was a personal business matter. Insist me to confirm personal info, I hang out. If somebody ask for confirmation of personal info befor day what is the call about , hang out, call back, report them. They for sure have your adress....

This number 631 247 9920 out of Farmingdale NY is constantly calling me too. I called them and a woman answers and gives me a number, then she transfers it over to a rude guy. He told me I owe $3500. I want to know how they got my boyfriends cell phone number, its under his name not mine!! They called for weeks and never left msgs..

Number calls my parents to verify my phone number.  I get it need to pay back student loans,  when I have the money they will get it.  Lets continue to give breaks to those who don't deserve it.  Lets send kids from different countries to school for next to nothing and give them a s**t load of aid, while people like myself who have been working since 11 struggling to make ends meet.  How about giving help to those who have managed to have a full time job their entire lives,  when do we get breaks.

Daily calls and hang-ups

I just got a strange call from 516-861-2210 that belongs to Teleport Communications in Nassau,NY. I tried calling it back and a machine picks up telling me that the number is not in service or the area code has changed. Can someone help me!

Have been calling for weeks, leaving no messages.  Was home to answer call this morning.  They said that they were trying to verify employment.  Wasn't even me or anyone I know.

Continuously calls and leaves no message.  Bothersome and annoying, so much for caller blocking from solicitors!!!!!

well when we all grow money from our back yards and can afford the luxury of having mommy and daddy pay for evrything for us like vu! then we wouldnt have to go borrowing from banks to try to better our lives to serve d*** heads liek you who will never know the meaning of a real struggle and hard ship keep drinkin more cosmos and dancing with girls gone wild!!!! thats a way to spend money huh?!!!! A*&hole.....

Here's an idea, why don't you pay off your student loan that you took out years ago just to party and see how much of your life you can waist and these people won't call you, your friends, your family, your neighbors, your work or who ever else they need to in order to keep our taxes and U.S. deficit down. And Joe, why don't you call them back so they'll stop calling and waking up your wife? Pretty simple solution isn't it?

Caller "Lisa" said that I had called them and she was returning my call.  She left this msg with someone else in the household.  I never heard of them, never called them, never had any student loans, etc.  A caller who starts out with an outright lie and then refuses to identify the company and reason for the call deserves no answers.

Keep getting calls from this number but they don't leave a message.  I don't answer unless I know the caller because the "Do Not Call" Act is a farce.

This company is located in Farmingdale, NY. It is listed in Nassau as Teleport Communications Group - Ny

They call, and call, and call and have never left a message.  They only call when normal people are working or looking for work.  However, they had the gaul and audaucity to call my property owners association and have them contact me.  Both calls woke up my wife who is a professional and works nights and was sleeping.

This Pioneer agency is really stupid!  I will have had my phone number for 13 years this July.  These people called me several times a week asking for someone I never heard of. I finally went to the State Attorney General's office to make them stop bothering me. (I am retired. I don't have student loans.) The attorney I was assigned roared with laughter at Pioneer, because they claimed I was hiding John Doe's whereabouts.  They were told to stop calling or they would be subject to a big, fat fine. I didn't hear from them for several months.  I'm sure everyone knows where this is going.  It is 10:45 am and I have already gotten three calls. Stupid, stupid company! Absolutely brain dead! I will enjoy calling the Attorney General this time.

Over 4 calls a day, everday starting at 8:00 AM

What is this number and why did they call?  How do we know for sure that they ARE a debt collection company and not just a front for phishing?

And by the way, some of us ARE trying to pay off the loans we took out for school years ago.  It is not easy and the government is giving us no help.  I'm paying a greater proportion of my skimpy income than someone who has millions of dollars.  Why should the large percentage of people in America, like me, who are working hard to raise a family with what little we can scrounge, effectively pay all we have, while those businesses get subsidies and those people who make the most get HUGE tax breaks.  Don't tell me its the American Dream and that those rich people deserve the breaks they get.  They should feel some responsibility, like Warren Buffet, and help the rest of us via paying more of their large incomes in taxes.  And now some of you are thinking about that trickle down stuff, what bull.  How does that work when the CEO's including Bloomberg who's now a Mayor, instead of letting their wealth "trickle down" are consolidating departments and cutting jobs so that they make even greater profits while we are forced to take whatever they give us because jobs are so scarce.  We can't even make enough money to pay our bills--let alone taxes.  It is so disheartening.

It is so not fair.

And then the additional burden of calls like the one this morning.  The rancid icing on a bitter cake.

Have had several calls from this number.  If answering machine picks up, no message is left.  When answered, they are looking for someone who never lived here.  In fact, they are looking for the guy my (now) ex-wife left with over 8 years ago.  My ex and this guy are no longer together, his present whereabouts unknown.  Why they are calling me I have no idea.

Read my message, twatface. I'm paying. They still called me and harassed me because a payment was late. They lied to me when I signed up for my repayment terms, trying to do the right thing and pay off my debts, too.

It's b***s***. And when the economy collapses it'll be because of greedy jerks it's gonna be because of CEOs who wanted to make millions in bonuses by giving mortgages to people who couldn't afford the real interest rate.

most people do pay their bills, the ones that have
to be paid like :

house payment - gotta live somewhere
electric bill - gotta have electricity
satelite or cable bill - gotta watch tv
grocery bill - gotta eat
gas bill - gotta have gas in the car
as long as people can pay those things and live comfortable
while still going on the occasional vacation,
why would they pay some 10 year old bill, pass statue of limitations,
thats not legally valid anymore, or they never heard of it before.
why waste money sending it in to some 3rd party collection
agency when you legally don't have to.

They keep calling my phone number looking for 2 other people that owe them money that used to have my number. When I tell them that I have had my tel # for over 2 years they don't believe me and continue to get nastier and nastier.  I am filing a complaint against this company with the Attorney General's office, because they have no right to harass me when all that happened was that I was unlucky enough to get a deadbeats old phone number.

Even if you're paying they harass you. Pioneer sucks a**. I hope they all end up eating dog food when the economy collapses in first quarter '08.
