WELL SLOMINS IS NOT BRIGHT CALLING A 13 YEAR OLD ON HER CELL PHONE.

they called my personal cell. we told them we are already customers and they insisted still on coming to the house. they asked for the address which is shady if they know i am already a customer. kept saying the same thing..we have specials..that is it. when i went to ask a generic question about a delivery of oil that was made by them they asked which company it was that made the delivery.i toldthem it was slomins..and they replied by saying "yes we're slomins". i didnt believe it was actually slomins and just hung up the phone.

Calls me on my cell phone. Couldn't say how they got the number as I only use that phone for personal calls. Plus, they call at really off hours and never leave a message. They will call multiple times in a row so the phone will keep ringing. If they're trying to sell me something they're definitely going about it all wrong!

It's the company who gives us the #,s. they just pop up on a screen.  We have no clue as to whether or not we have called that particular #.  Each person calls at least 300 #,s a night.  The Slomins system of #'s is awful.   The callers are just making a living.  I agree tho, the company needs to stop calling back #'s that have been put down as not interested.  It's downright embarrassing when I'm calling ppl n they get so mad.  But it's our job n we have no clue until we r yelled at by ppl that we have all rdy called that #.  But I feel your pain, slomins as a company is annoying as hell!!

I work there, our system sucks.. If we put not interested  or do not call, it seems the #'s recycle and we end up calling those same ppl within a week.  It's awful, I feel bad for all the ppl getting bothered.  FYI  if ur constantly called and don't pick up, we will keep calling everyday because its in the system as a no answer. So just tell the person calling u that your gonna sue and u want to be off the list.  Then we give that # to our manager and he takes the # out of the system, I think anyway.....

I guess they are persistent. I just got call from them twice. First I picked up and hang up. And they called me right back again, this time I rejected it

Did not pick up and they left no message.  Have gotten calls from Sloman Shield before and asked to be removed from the calling list since I do not own a home.

received 4 calls form this number this morning at all bizarre times couldnt answer the phone and when called back i got no answer!

GOT A ONE CALL YESTERDAY, 11/03/2010. COULDN'T PICK UP CALL. WHEN I RETURING CALL IN EVENING, A GUY PICKED UP THE CALL. HE MENTIONED HE CAN DO SECURITY SERVICE IF I AM INTEREST. I SAID "NO" AND HANG UP.

I just got a new LAN line for use with my security system.  I have never given my number out.  This number has already called me once last week.  Thankfully I know better to answer it.

Just got this phone call.  Googled it, found this page and am pissed because I have received so many calls like this and found pages like this.  This random call stuff is crap!

This number showed up on my work phone as a missed call at 8:24 pm.  If what the poster directly above me says is true about this being Slomins Inc, my stepson worked there briefly as a telemarketer.  They're trying to sell you a home security system.  They do that in addition to home heating oil.  They have a few people on staff making security system solicitations.  Just an FYI.

This number shows up on my caller ID as Slomins, Inc.  I called the number back and got a live person.  They are a home heating oil company on Long Island.  Well I moved away from Long Island two years ago and now I live in Florida and I don't need home heating oil.  So I told them that and asked them to remove my number from their list.  For a while I didn't get any calls, but now I'm getting them again.  I'm going to contact the Better Business Bureau on Long Island and report them.  Dummies!

They call my job everyday. I never answer and this is what i found about this number, I have not varified it since I dont feel like calling it back:
