My check card was charged $11.52 by BCBTM.  Their phone number is 631-380-7984.  Some rip-off company on Long Island.  Called and no one was available to take the call.  Check your bank statements and credit card accounts closely!

Bank of America just let me know today that a Co. called BCBTM charged my credit card for 20.05, but they alerted me to it so it didn't go thru.  B of A thought it was a fraudulant charge.  It had the same phone # 631-380--7984 & it was an electronics store in NY.  I have no idea how they got my credit card #, but I'm glad that B of A caught it in time.

So BCBTM, we are on to you!!!!

Hey yall, dig this.....  This just happened to me today.  I called my bank.  I was on it.  Same exact thing happened to me.  They had a charge of 10.28 on hold on Spet 22nd.  My bank immediately closed my debit card down, via the fraud department and I am being sent a new debit card as we speak.  If you are experience the exact same thing, call your bank and your bank, the fraud deparment, should close/cancel your debit card immediately....  This happened yesterday shall I say, well today, Sept 23rd, I caught it.  They did the same thing to me, and charged 10.64 on my debit card.  I asked the bank how could this of happened.  I spoke with a lady in the fraud department.  That's who you should be speaking to, the fraud department from your bank.  Well, the lady told me they did it by telephone or computer.  It had that same message BCBTM 5732, which the fraud department said it was some type of electronic store.  I called the number and an answering machine came on.  You do need to get a new debit card ASAP, and again, have the fraud department at your bank cancel the one you have now.  The fraud department at your bank will give you a case number, they will fax you a form, fill out the form and fax it back to your bank asap.  Hope this helped.

I know of an instance where a GOVERNMENT credit card was charged with $10.14 by the same company.  The bank refunded the $$ to the card and the card was then cancelled.   No phone numbers were shown on this one.  The only way the card holder found out it was fraudulent company was by googling BCBTM.   This happened earlier to the card holder and it was caught and refunded.  The company that the phisher used was a legitimate company and they were aware of the scam.  It was said that the phisher would charge a small amount and if no complaint came back, they would charge the card an exorbinant amount and the card holder was left holding the bag.

On August 8, a charge hit my bank account by way of my debit card for 24.71 and the transaction information stated "BCBTM 631-380-7984 NYUS"  What does anyone know about this?  I initially called my bank and didn't get much information.  I am trying to figure out what my next step should be.  I think I need to get new debit cards.  I did call the phone number and an answering machine picks up.

I got a charge for $16.64 on July 30th. it was posted on the 18th but cleared on the 30th. I never authorized this transaction at all. I also tried to call the number but it says no one is availbale to answer your call. I guess this company should be banned from credit companies, banks or any other institutions. It is so easy for them to do the charge but very hard for us to get our money back!!! I know it's just a small amount but if they can do it to hundreds of people, this is tons of money for them. Somebody needs to do something about it!

I had the small charge of $14.28 show up on my account and the vendor/phone number was the same, BCBTM 631 380-7984 NY.  I called the number and got the same generic voice machine as others have described in earlier posts here.  I called the bank and canceled the debit card.  They said the initial transaction would post tonight but it would be refunded. They said if BCBTM tried to use the card number again, it wouldn't be processed.  I told them to cancel the card based on the posts on this site.  That's why it's important for us to reply with any information so that any others who may be googling (or searching) for info will get the warnings.  As I understand, the vendor (in this case, BCBTM) tries a small 'feeler' charge first to see if the number works.  If the charge goes through, they then use the card number for much larger transaction amounts.  They'll use the card number until it is no longer approved for any transactions.  By canceling the card, I was being proactive so the company wouldn't have a chance to charge any additional amounts on the card.  I will go into the bank tomorrow morning and they will issue another debit card to me for the account.  If this type of suspicious transaction is happening to you on your accounts, don't wait to act.  I do a quick online check of my accounts every day to see if there are any suspicious transactions happening.  This is the first one for me but I believe I've kept it from getting into a serious 'charge' level.  Good luck to everyone.
