Tired of getting calls from the number! Any one know who it is????

I keep getting calls from 631-555-2786 with an automated message selling health insurance. In my state there is a no call law. If I could find out the origin of the calls with a name and address I would sue them.

Got an automated call to my cell phone from this number selling something (insurance?).

DON'T KNOW WHO THIS NUMBER BELONGS TO...BUT THEY NEED TO KNOW FOLKS ARE ON TO THEIR SCAM...

These people are driving me insane.

555? Really? How can this possibly be a real number? I didn't even attempt to answer...

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone and it is getting to be a pain.

This number never leaves a message, not sure who they are but I am on the Do Not Call list so I would like to know how they can get away with it.

The health insurance plan from Hell.  They sell you insurance that no one accepts... is in no network and doesn't pay.

I just had a call from this number.  I asked the rep what the name of the company is and he said
Nationwide.  I don't know if it is a legit name or not.

I knew right away it is telemarketing. I still answered it and my first words were What Is The Name Of Your Company. The girls said "well... I just..." and hung up.
The number is bogus so you cannot trace them (and cannot sue them).
If somebody get lucky with learning their real name please share it

When i tried to call back it gives me the message " Thank you for calling Sprint 411" and when I tried from land line it says the number does not exists.

I am on the Do Not call list too and they just randomly started calling. I haven't even filled out anything to prompt getting tela-marketing calls.

Does anyone know the name of this insurance company?

I contacted the AG office in Ohio to report the calls from this number and also from 775-631-2224. They said to make sure you have registered you phones with the Federal Trade Com. no call list. You can contact the FTC at #877-382-4357 or www.FTC.gov

Also, the person that I talked to during the scamers call said that he was with Nationwide Insurance, AG said that it is probably someone fishing for personal information to scam you.

Their toll free number is 800-820-3995. Call them and tell them to remove your number.

Unwanted Call

Have recieved dozens of calls from this number. Caller ID shows "DIR ASST NY". They don't leave a message, and if you try to call back you cannot get through so it's probably an autodialer.

The 555 exchange indicates that this is a fictitious phone number, basically they have their caller ID tag set to report bogus information. I don't know if that is illegal in itself, but the fact that they're cold calling people on the DNC registry is. If you can get a live person on the line you might want to fish for a company name, address, and possibly a legit phone number and post it here. It looks like there are plenty of people who would like to talk to them.

Additionally, if they're claiming to broker insurance from another company, for instance Kaiser or Blue Shield, a letter to the company they claim to represent would bring some corporate lawyers into play with no cost to the people getting the harassing calls.

Received cell call from this number - Can't they be stopped????

I got a call on my cell from this number yesterday and 402-982-0818. I think they are both about buying health care. If you call the 402 number, you can press 1 to be removed from their list. Neither # leaves a message.

When I call this # back, I get a message saying the service is restricted?? I didn't think the phone co issued 555 numbers.

I keep getting calls from this number.  It doesn't matter if you answer or you don't, they keep calling.  Everyday!!  Is there anyway to make them stop?

they call me a few times a day but i have place in ny, ut, and ca calling everyday.

This number keeps calling me and telling me about health insurance I already have health insurance I don't need phone calls.

calls every day at while fixing evening meal trying to sell something call on my cell phone.. I gave it a name " don't answer"

Just filed a complaint with the national do not call registry... if everyone does it, maybe it will help...

This number is a call from a health insurance sales company. I have NO idea how they got my number. I have health insurance from work.. I have pressed 2 to be taken off of their list several times, i have pressed 1 and had them take me off of my list with the "your number should be taken off within 24 hours" crap... they called again today and when i told the guy that i have asked mulitple times to be taken off the list he flat hung up on me! And when I tried to call the number back, it went to ATT customer assistance... I am irate about it... I want a company number to call..

A GOOD IDEA THAT WORKS FOR ME IS THE FOLLOWING WHEN  YOU DON[T KNOW THE PARTY CALLING, WHEREVER IT IS FROM:
JUST PUT FIND AND THEN THE NUMBER.  IT WILL TELL YOU EXACTLY WHERE AND FROM WHOM THAT PHONE IS COMING FROM.
HOPE THIS HELPS A LOT OF PEOPLE.

I missed the call (fortunately), but called back to see if it was important. I got directory assistance. Obviously, NOT IMPORTANT.
