THIS IS A SCAM..  THERE changed the company name too BEST PRIME MEAT INC  They scammed my wife into signing a 3-yr applicance agreement at 100 a month financed...  Why would you need that....  

When I called them I talked to CHUCK..It said he would have to get GARY to call me back.   I finally got GARY and he hung up on me twice becaused my name isn't on the account its my wife...  

WHATEVER YOU DO..DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

Forget the do not call complaints they go no where and have no power over these low lifes.

The do APPLY to the do not call list once you ask them to put you on their do not call list. They have to stop when asked. A good company would honor your request this lowlifes do not.

After a month of annoying hang ups from this company I finally googled the number and learned it was American Meat & Groceries in Ronkonkoma, NY. I called this morning to ask them to stop and I spoke with the supposed manager and he was extremely rude and disrespectful and hung up on me. When I called back and asked for the managers name at first she said Mark but then I found out it was Gary.... I insisted on an apology but they wouldn't put him on the phone. After I told them I would continue to call ?.she  got him on and he yelled at me to GET A LIFE BI***!. He hung up yet again. I called back and they kept hanging up on me until one woman who played all innocent got him back on the phone yelling at me and threatening to call the cops on me!  he hung up yet again.  Funny how his business is harassing me yet yet he's the annoyed one. Not very professional. Pathetic business.

Do Not answer a call from this number-  It does say HFS but it is Prime Meats.  They call and Call and don't take no for an answer.  I did ask for a manager and I did scream my head off at them.  The calls stopped for a week then started up again.  I told them they were harrashing me.  They called again this morning And I am not very happy.  Reporting them to the Police again and reporting them to the BBB.  I had enough.  Don't even answer the phone-  I have posted on every account I have that this company is horrible and DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM

Hi Peggy, did you go down to the 4th precent to file harrassment charges against them?? they call me at least 3x a day and i tell them Im keeping a log and will charge them with harrassment. I told them i am on the do not call list and they just hang up or not say anything at all.

How do I get these people to STOP calling me?? They call every day and never leave a message. I called the number back and it rang and rang.

They have been calling me for months, most of the time WAKING ME UP. They hang up.  I call back like you have & they HANG UP or say nothing. I got them on the line a few weeks back & told them to get me off their list.  No luck.  I finally got a another lady to answer tonight after 2 calles today alone and begged her to get me off their call list, that it was my second request & did she know it was against the law to continue soliciting if you tell them to take them off the call list? She said she would...let's see.  Caller ID says HFS but they sell meat.

They have called 3 days in a row and each time I have told them not to call. So if they are selling something or not is no important as they are breaking the do not call laws. I have reported them each time and will continue till they stop

I have been getting calls from them every night now. I can't believe they have been hiring shills to give them good reviews. Check out their reviews on Merchant Circle. They have been getting horrible reviews left and right! Customers say that they have very poor products and are scammers.

got a call this morning from this number - no one responded when I said "Hello".  Caller ID said "American"....I too am on the No Calll list - guess it doesn't work too well.  Too many phone calls coming in where all they do is hang up....what's up with that!  Very annoying!

My caller id says "American 631738-8051" every night they call me. If I answer I can hear women on the other end talking, then they hang up. I've tried to call them, just hear a tone then silence. This has become very annoying! How do I get it to stop?

I have recieved several phone calls from this company (at least 5 a day) when we pick up they hang up. If i try to call back it is busy. I am thinking about trying to file harrassement charges if this goes on any longer.

Six months ago I received a call from a telemarketer from ABM Home Foods. I was ready to hang up when they mentioned I can save money on my grocery bills, and I have. I am now saving a lot of money by buying their meats and vegetables which are delicious. I am very satisfied with this company.
    Recommended this to my brother who doesn't like anything. He's very happy with it.

Yes I took a call at 8:00 on a Tuesday night. After talking to the customer rep, I found out that I can save money and have a better quality food. I tried it.  Found out the food was indeed excellent and I have save money buying their product. I can't get these deals in the supermarket or the quality. I have been with them for almost a year and haven't had any problems.

I took a call a while ago, and I'm glad I did. I have received excellent food and saved money.
I even saved on gas by going to the grocery less often. When I had a problem with the food I called their customer service and it promptly taken care of. Thanks ABM!!

telephone rang this morning, caller id had AMERICAN 738-8051.  No area code.  Ans Mach picked up..left no message....I checked my cell phone caller ID...because I have "simultaneous ring" feature and the area code was 631.

This number calls, I answer, they listen then hang up.  Why bother?
