No response.

Rude telemarketer, asking to speak with my husband regarding our flue.  We don't have one.  When I told him that, he hung up on me. While I understand that telemarketers have that experience frequently, hanging up on a potential customer is a sure fire way to tick said customer off.

I, too, received a call asking for my husband who is not able to get to the phone- he has a hearing problem, along with AMD.  I inquired what it was in reference to and the caller said that they were True Star Chimney cleaners and that it was sometime since we had our chimney cleaned - this is correct, however I did not recall the company we used back then.  It was one of those mornings that was very busy and I agreed to have them come over to look.  He immediately said that because we had used them before they would give me a cleaning for half price ($30.00)  Being a senior citizen I thought this was a bargain - LITTLE DID I KNOW???.  They checked and told me that the entire lining had collapsed and the I needed the new stainless steel lining.  It was the day before the anticipated snow storm on January 11th and my husband and I became very anxious.  He said that he had the lining in his truck and that he would do it for $1500 if we paid cash and would save the tax.  I had no one here to check this out and unfortunately agreed.  I have been trying to contact them because the chimney cover came off during the last storm and have been unable to make contac.  I am now having another company come over to check the roof and chimney to make sure that a new lining was installed and everything is up to par.  IF YOU GET A CALL LIKE HIS HANG UP AND REPORT IT IMMEDIATELY.  I hope this message will help someone.

In refrence to the remark: That this comany called several times in one day is ludacrous,  im in the chimney business and under no circumstances does any telemarketer call a home several times in one day, i had to leave a comment because it sounds so ridiculous. Also to the person writting about that the call "hung up on you" its prob cause you were rude!

Caller asked to speak with my husband.  When I said he wasn't home, he said he'd call back later.  When I asked what the call was in reference to, he said it was regarding our flue.  I told the caller we didn't have one. He replied, "I was calling for Mr. *****, goodbye." and hung up.
