called me I answered no one was there. called back, got transfered and hang up on.  from winnipeg m.b.

Telemarketing companies hire companies like these to find out when it would be the best time to call you.  That is why they hang up when you answer.  If you don't answer the call, then your telephone number will be reported to the telemarketing company as no good.  If you continue to answer the call, they record the time and you should be getting sales calls from the telemarketing company.  Get how it works?

These jerks keep calling me three or four times a day. When I tried to call back at that number I got a recorded message that the number can't be reached from NB. So I submitted a complaint to CRTC.

I cant find out who they are and they call all the time, I am tired of it.

this number 888-283-5118 has called my house at least six times a day. it is on my caller I.D I have also tried to call them back to tell them to get lost and I also get a please hold while we transfer your call then it is dropped! very annoying. there has got to be something that can be done to stop these annoying people!

those numbers dont work, they all drop the call.

seriously im trying to sleep they phone at 7am on a saturday.. like common now.. they have phone me probably every second day now, actually since i applied for a loan, has anyone else applied for a loan?  This is when it all started.. maybe that can help

I have received several calls now from that number, when i try to return the call the same things happens every time, it say's pls wait to be transfered and then the call drops.

Just got a call from this number (Nov 22, 2007 @ 2:08pm), didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  I've gotten calls from other mystery numbers too.

I recieved a call from this number too... Well actually it was my mom who answered and someone asked for me, but I wasnt home and then i tried to phone back and it says PLEASE WAIT WELL WE TRANSFER UR CALL, then it rings 2 or 3 times then silence on the line then it hangs up.   So out of curiosity i searched this number online and it seems that alot of people are being bothered by this mystery number... I guess If they phone back and I answer I should tell them off for everyone in here! LoL

I get a call from this company every singl;e day for the past 3 days!!! No voicemail, no nothing. Somebody please help out if you get a hold of them or get a chance to answer their calls cuz I am really annoyed. Also from Edmonton Alberta

WHOEVER HAS INFO ON THIS NUMBER, LET US KNOW PLEASE, because I have the same exact problem whoever the hell is calling from this number keeps calling, you call the number, and it says please wait while call is transferred, than it hangs up, EVERY TIME.

MUST BE A CON ARTIST SCAM.
